Wolfbox g900 Rearview Mirror Camera/Dashcam

Has anyone installed a Wolfbox g900 on a Gladiator? Wondering how the installation went and where you mounted the rear view camera since our tops are always off. Thank you.

I have a different version of the wolfbox; I used their license plate mount. Only issue is when vehicles get closer at night, there is a lot of glare. I'd buy again.

FYI The G900 is a 12" display and doesn't fit well in the Gladi. Too wide and interferes with sun visors. The G930 is a smaller 10" display and fits much gooder.

for me personally i haven't needed to move the mirror out of the way to get the sun visor down. the visor goes down far enough to block the sun when i am driving into work .

I love my Wolfbox... I removed the factory mirror and used ball adapters to get it to mount factory. If you have the radar box you get a slight bit of it showing up in the front dashcam, otherwise it works great. I also just used the power from the auto dim wiring going to the factory rear view mirror, I did not run power to the battery. Vampire taps and it's been working great for 6+ months now.

Rear dashcam is mounted internally facing out the rear window, its tinted and still clear as day. I ran all the wires through the roll bar so only thing I have to do when taking the top off is just unscrew it from the angle mount that is glued on my back window... takes maybe 30 seconds.

Only the G900 triple has a third camera option, the G900 Pro does not. But not everyone wants or needs a 3rd camera. I personally don't find a need for one.

What did you use for ball adaptors? Could you post links and pics? Thx! I’d like to use Ram mount balls or similar, but the Wolfbox OEM MOUNT ball is not a standard size.
Ram has a link that is 19mm on one end and 17mm on the other, but Wolfbox ball is about 22.5 mm…

Could the lens be removed from the Wolfbox housing to be installed by just drilling a hole to size In the tailgate handle similar to @sharpsicle ’s install?

I jsut posted up this quick review. Awesome set up. I'll snap some pics of the install and camera location. Unfortunately the ones I have are an unsupported file type (HEIC) so I need to convert them or take some more. The newest G900 Tri Pro model is definitely worth considering, especially if you don't have the factory trail camera option. The Bumper View is money for solo trips offroad or when you simply don't want to have to scout on foot everytime you lose line of site of trails on approach or breakover drops.

I did the full replacement, hardwired in so it's solid.
