I got my drive shaft in late tonight via ups. Pulled the old one out but broke 3 bolts off at the pinion yoke. Went and got some “heat” from Home Depot and was able to get them out. Gah. Install wasn’t much fun but definitely happy when I opened the package and there was bolts ready to go.
Honestly, I’m not happy with the design of the driveshaft but dammz… those bolts that hold the driveshaft to the yikes are way way way too soft IMO. I’ll be upgrading to a heavy duty driveshaft sooner than later.

Finished the grey/black badge conversion on the Rubicon. Very satisfied.
Excuse the repeat photos but I just wanted to show how they play together, style-wise.

I was thinking. If you would have sprayed the bolts with rotting whale meat oil. Those bolts would have spun right out, almost by their selves.

I did the Gladiator tailgate badges. I know there not for everyone, but I like them. I waited for them to finally come out with the color match stin-gray because I didn't want it to look to heavy with all black.

Yeah. Not the most fun project. Glad that nasty one is out of there for you though. Good work. I started feeling those soft bolts on the way out of the t-case. I got lucky, but didn’t use power tools. I was scared to break one. I finished 30 mins before having to pick up my kids.

There were some. The U joint end uses 6mm Allen. And you can’t access the top and bottom middles without a long ball end. Nasty.
