I assumed the inverter switch harness would be sitting there after watching, go to 6:31, I have the inverter but the wiring isn't there
I watched that same video and got the whole dash off to find that I too didn’t have the cable where it was shown to be in that video. Luckily a comment on that video said that newer Gladiator models still have it, but it is further back. I had to take out the front knee speaker and reach really far back, almost to firewall, to get the cable. It’s taped onto the same harness as shown in the video, but just in the worst location possible.

Not the best picture, but just wanted to show future sufferers what it takes to get OEM bed power:

@OffAxis2021 which "GLADIATOR" badge kit is that?
LimitlessParts.com

I tried the standard Mojave colors, but disliked the overall look. The orange was not a close enough match. The current is satin black (supposedly - it may be more matte) on gloss black outline, which is what the OEM hood graphic is (also may be more matte).
Satin vs. matte is closer than the Mojave colors badge’s orange was though.
Drove me nuts. Too OCD here.

Personally… I think the satin gray on gloss black would here have looked best on my application.

Got the tail gate ladder installed on the new truck.
They come with self-drilling sheet metal screws to secure the plate to the tail gate. That's what I did the first time, just like the directions- but this time I opted for some lower profile head screws (button head screws) and M5 rivnuts. Took more time and patience as you have to mark the holes and drill carefully with a stop on the bit in case it grabs, recess the bed liner for the flange of the rivnut and things have to line up perfectly, got 'er done.
With the strength of the screws and rivnuts, and the plate, you don't need too many screws. I think the instructions recommend 6, can't recall for sure. I figured 5 was good with this method.

Pull 2 pins and the ladder comes off. I figured with these m5 screws and rivnuts if I had to take the whole plate off, it would be pretty easy. (like access to the latch handle and rods, or for hauling rock or whatever)

Here's a rivnut visible through the ladder plate's hole -

I'm planning to do a DIY tailgate molle pannel, but it will involve drilling into both the steel and aluminum components of the tailgate. After drilling did you coat the bare metal with anything? Paint, grease? I'm not thrilled about drilling or about the potential rust and corrosion thereafter. Thanks.

Removed a few unnecessary bits n bobs. Didn’t have to remove the PDC (went thru inner fender liner) and somehow didn’t loose any settings having the batteries out for 2 hrs. Fired right up & no idiot lights. Someone went crazy with the tesa tape at the factory tho, lol.
2nd pic just shows the N1 to N3 jumper. 3rd is finished, can’t even tell all that crap got removed.

Looks clean. I thought I did a good job but you dressed up your routing a lot better than I did.

Finally installed the Rock crawler rear control arms and EVO rear track bar. Hope I did them correctly.

Yes… another cosmetic… Hah and not going to make the “adds X horsepower, right?” comment, but…
My actual “build” of sorts, is minimal and basically done so…
Added a sticker and it was by far the worst I have ever dealt with. So thin and I could not separate it from its paper backing.
Anyway… I said I was not going to put on any stickers, but… because… it goes with my digital license plate. Which is also in this thread.
Again… not a brag. Just another/an alternate choice of debt. Lol.

Weird, I had thought those were supposed to be installed with the bend "up" for clearance. That fashion increases the chance it will touch down on a rock, no?
