Bone stock sport S 988 miles, 24.8 . I expect it to go up once it breaks in and summer fuel comes out.
For the record I went up to 27 average once it broke in. After 35s and lift I'm at 21.8

And at what mileage do you think it was broken in?

Winter fuel must have hit me a couple tanks ago. I thought it was me drove in the deep snow. Maybe both. I'm currently down under 20 on 37s. I'm going to drive slow and shift early for a tank to see how high I can raise it again. In the winter. Thinking gde may be in store for Christmas.

Stock overland wheels and tires I was hand calculating between 27-28 quite easily. The work commute is 38 miles each way so that helps. After leveling the front I lost 1-1.5mpg. Now on 37s I’m seeing 20.5-21.5 pretty consistently.

Just after my first oil change actually at 4600 miles... Now I'm wondering if it was a combo of the factory fill and break in...

Reading through this thread I see two things.

1. You'll never recoup your investment from fuel savings on the diesel.

2. See 1
Hilarious, didn’t see any recent posts here claiming to be using fuel efficiency savings to recoup an “investment”. Maybe next time get a little more creative with your trolling.

I get the torque side of it. But this thread is about mpg. I'm just saying that on that basis alone, compared to my gasser getting 18 on 2" lift and 35s, and weighing the added vehicle cost, higher fuel costs, and the DEF, it's not justifiable.
I attack EVs in the same straightforward and pragmatic manner. It's not personal.

But MPGs are a moot point for most of us who got the Ecodiesel. We got it for torque and not to save on fuel economy. The impression I am getting from your post is that we got it to save on fuel cost and we are now disappointed that we'll not recover the extra cost we paid for the diesel engine. It's not the case.

Perhaps I misread the thread title ?
