Have many of you received this latest recall notification? I've been patiently waiting, but I have not for my JT or my wife's JL.
Yep. I received mine almost 2 weeks ago. My JL is an early production 2018, so they may start with the older ones first.

Received recall in the mail last week. Called my local dealer today, the service advisor told me there is no clear guidance from Jeep on how to deal with it yet. If I were to have any actual issues and it is an emergency they would take the truck in, otherwise I need to wait till the whole backlog supply issue clears up.

Anyone have any idea how this issue will affect new builds? Placed an order on 2/1/23... Went to D Status 4/13/23... but then back to D1.

Wait do you mean back to D1 as in it went D > D1 > D (because of the recall) > and now its back in D1?

Or are you just referring to the D1-to-D regress and its currently back to D waiting for a new scheduled date?

The reason I ask is I am also still waiting for a build date and last I heard from the dealer on Monday was that there was still no date and it was stuck in D.

I am not happy with another reflash derating of power on my Jeep. I bought a Gladiator with 285 hp &260 ft lbs torque. Mazda got caught overrating the #s on the RX8 and had to buy back. How is this any different? This needs to be a hardware swap to a clutch that handles the torque without slipping and catching fire!

Darn I was hoping yours was back in D1 because that would have been a great sign

I don't think there is any indication that they would derate again. Also if I understand correctly, maybe I'm wrong on this but from what I have read the previous reflash only derated when it detected excessive/prolonged slip since in theory that should have worked just by monitoring engine speed, trans output speed and clutch pedal position and if the output speed doesn't match acceleration curves for any gear ratio selected then you could see the clutch must be slipping. I think there was also some logic to attempt to interpolate an over temperature condition as well though I'm not sure how that would work. Obviously it didn't work but I wouldn't expect a detune. Even their official statement is that it is a design issue. Acknowledging that suggests a hardware replacement.
