If I read right, the OP doesn't intend on doing any rock crawling. Sounds like it will be primarily a DD with the occasional off road excursion. Nothing stressful

With j scan did you adjust to 33.75
I measured from the top of the tire with a level, maybe not the right way to do it, but it came out to 34" that's what I set mine to with JScan. Speedo seems t be right on

Rode my stockers till I had to replace them. Was torn between 35/37. I went with the nitto recon 37 by 11.5. 2 inch coil spacer lift. And a front adjustable track bar. I have a Rubicon and had planned on going to 4:88 right away. But honestly being in florida it hasn’t been near what I thought it would be. Mileage drop from 15.9 average to 14.5. Power is still there , still see 8th on the highway. Overall I’m very glad I went with the 37.

I too went with recon 37x11.50’s on my Mojave and getting same numbers as you are. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...con-grappler-37x11-5r17-on-2020-mojave.69183/

Great lookin rig! Thanks for sharing.

I just test drove a slightly used 6spd with 37" BFGs. 4:10 gears. That felt way underpowered. Shame, I really liked the setup.

It was interesting that 3rd gear wanted to go all the way 60mph. I was wondering when I'd ever use 6th.

Would regearing change this?

Yep that’s my understanding. I’ve been getting some quotes and it seems be around 2k here in my area. I’m gonna reheat my sport to 4.88

This is the one I was looking at. I think it looks great, very low miles. Would be especially interested if it can be had south of $45k. It has $5k+(?) in extras? LINK

Holding me back are 1) Clutch recall, 2) lack of power. While entering the hwy I mashed the gas down and got zero response other than a very slow acceleration. If I went ahead and swapped clutches myself and regeared it (no actually myself), that is another $5k+/-?

Would I feel more power/throttle response with new gearing? Or is it just shorter shift points? Appreciate the help. Also, would changing the clutch / gears void the powertrain warranty?

Thx. I'm presently running 35 inch Wildpeak AT3s on Black Rhino rims. I bought it used with 16k miles and its how he had it set up. I just really like the look of 37s on the Gladiator. Just not sure if it's the wise way to go.
You can do it with a 3” lift. Depending on the offset and backspacing of your rims, you could do it without rubbing. It’s possible that you could rub on the inner fender liners at full articulation with a 2” lift, but if your off roading is minimal, you’d likely get away with it. The bigger issue as a daily driver is gearing. You’ll notice that you don’t see 7th and 8th as often otherwise. From a strength standpoint, 37’s put stress on steering and axles. If your not doing serious off roading, and don’t mash the gas pedal, the axles will likely survive for quite some time. But steering and ball joints will wear out rather quickly under that load.

Kind of in the same boat. 2021 JT Sport S., stock 3.73s. Currently running the 2" Mopar lift on stock 7.5" wide Overland wheels with on Falken Wildpeak AT3w 285/75R18s (35s) tires and 1.75" spacers. Adjusted for tire height with the JScan app. It's just a preference, but I like the look of the JTs on 37s. As it stands, 100% of my driving is on the road as a DD.
I like the stock Overland wheels and the 37s shouldn't cause any issues with the type of driving I do. I may get some push-back from Discount Tire when I go to have them installed due to the wheel width, but I know the manager and I think he would install them. Something else to consider is they are quite a bit heavier than the 35s. According to Falken's website the current tires weigh in at 65.9lbs, the 37s weigh in at 79.4lbs!
Well I ordered 37 inch Katani Trail Hogs yesterday so I'll post some pics once I get em on. I know its a bit risky going off brand but they have lots of great reviews and I got 4 em for just over a thousand bucks delivered to my house. Worth a shot!

You would for sure feel more power with a regear. I have 35s on my rubicon 6spd and it lives in 4th between 45-60. It can hold 65 in 5th but 6 is never seen.

For the clutch recall, that’s an easy fix. Centerforce or act will fix that. It’s amazing what the new clutch has done for mine.

Looking for some advice from those of you running 37's. I have a Sport with the 2 inch Mopar lift and Fox steering stabilizer. Is there anything else you'd recommend as needed to safely run 37's? It's mostly my DD. My off roading will not be extreme. I know I need to regear, but aside from that I'm I good to go? And does anyone have regrets for going to 37's. My mechanic is discouraging me from it and the main 4 wheel drive shop in our area did the same. They told me these Gladiators are happy with the 35's but some of their customers have had problems after going to 35's.
my 37's " Feel" troublesome.. although so very cool of a look. ( and thats Half of the equation" from us jeep people... I am actually Looking to reduce the tire size to obtain a Better ride... Just sayin.

With the right suspension adjustments, it should still feel fantastic. Mine still feels better than it did driving when stock.
