Lots of reasons she might not like the Jeep. Some lifts have real stiff springs or shocks. Maybe the tires are too stiff or overinflated. If you're running 37s, you might think about replacing some of the steering components with some heavy duty pieces to offset that little wobble. On the other hand, might be easier to replace the wife....

Get some BFG KO2s C rated and do 33 pounds in them. Put some water containers at the tailgate. My suspension is now done and it rides as good as possible.

You don't say how old your lift/shocks are or how many miles on it.

You may be in need of new bushings and shocks. If she liked the ride after lifting, then you should look there too.

yes it sways a Bit... and of cours eits a jeep ride but it is clunky a tiny shudder is showing up - noty the death woble - yet..
Sway can be helped with shock type…
Tiny shudder is a guessing game…. Could be tires, could be any wear component on the suspension…. Fox tend to be on the softer side- bilstien's are cheap and a bit firmer- should help with the sway. But again, could also be any other wear item on the suspension….

Road noise, good wear, and decent performance (they are all terrains, and I’d argue a better one than KO2’s) Patagonia XT’s…. 3.5” I’d move to a 38” from a 37 ;)

As others have noted- tire pressure is a big one…. 32psi here.
tire load rating could be another. I run C’s E’s are horrible on jeeps…. (37” e ratings are load wise WAY too high…. I don’t think people realize with size changes load ratings a stock 32” E vs a 37 E is a significant difference)

Is this your first jeep/off road vehicle? Do you use it enough to justify? Things are constantly wearing and need attention….

What tire pressure are you running? Mine rides super rough at @38 PSI. It rides, drives, handles, and gets good, even tire wear at 32 PSI. A lot of these tires have high load ratings.

I will just repeat and agree with what others have said:

#1 Is the 3" lift. Lift kit companies vary, and most don't advertise a 'better ride'.

#2 Is the tire rating and pressure. You don't need E rated 37" tires on a JT. That would change the ride seriously. And your tire pressure is also a huge factor.

What will probably make your wife happier, and you will still have a Gladiator: Is a 6 - letter word that Rubicon owners love to hate: "M O J A V E"

i'll take a look here's the window sticker. I beleive there is Just One fox shock. ( I've seen two on some jeeps - would that help?
Adding A second shock really isn't going to help. That's a 1980s monster truck fad. One good shock per corner is all that is necessary.

But shock choice can be a very personal thing. You may prefer a softer cooshy ride yet the next guy likes a bit firmer.

There are several brands of shocks that will allow you to do some adjusting and maybe get it closer to what you want.

Also, I didn't see you mention which lift you have. Not all lifts are equal.

I run like 30 psi up front and 28-29 in the back. Starting there you can get a feel for what impact your tires are having. Old worn tires tend to start driving like crap sometimes.

On another note, despite my previous post...

That Jeep, @Charlie Downey , is an excellent looking JTR. It is beautiful. Thank you posting that pic.

FOR SALE/FOR TRADE:

Well, the wife said my Jeep rides too rough, so it's time to let my baby go. She's been great to me, but as you can see it's time to move on to something not so harsh. Head turner and always looks great. Has never let me down, never left me stranded. Only thing to note is she doesn't like rough riding vehicles!

Willing to trade for another model of equal or lesser age!

What suspension are you running? Geometry correction? A nice D or C rated all terrain tire will ride better for daily use.
The BF Goodrich KO2's are C rated

Ya I think the KO2's that came on my JLU-XR were C rated, the road smooth. My current Cooper AT3 XLT's ride really smooth also with the right PSI

Mojave here with 37 ko2s at 34psi no lift and about 400lbs in the bed with 3/4 rear spacer. I found it comfortable enough to drive cross country to moab and back. Handled the trails and highways great
