The F150 announcement had way more interesting tidbits, but I think that is a new gen, not a lame refresh. I don't know if I was buying today if I'd validate the JTR upcharge again, when optioned similar to my JTR a Colorado ZR2 Bison or a Ranger Raptor would be cheaper and offer more. The Silverado ZR2 can be optioned with a 3.0 Duramax now for close to what a Rubicon X will probably cost...

All I am hearing is bitch, whine, complain, gripe. Seriously, how many of y’all would actually sell your Gladiator for a ‘24? Power seats and more safety features that are standard on some models is actually a great thing for some. Go buy a Tacoma if you want something completely different.

It's more of a disappointment I believe. I know it is for me. Jeep could have done a lot better. My JTR is optioned really close to what I would have ordered. A 2024 can't be optioned to my liking, which assures me of not considering one.

No full floater
No XR package
No 392 or 4xe

All kind of lame.

I see this as a message that that have too many JTs in dealer inventory. They backed off on significant upgrades for 2024 so that they can get 23’s off the lot and reduce production of 24’s to be more in line with demand.
I agree.

If it was a 4xe, I'd have sold mine.

I wouldn’t buy this truck again. In ‘21 I refused to pay $70k sticker on GP. I wasn’t cross shopping. I like Jeeps. But nothing is worth that. I just wouldn’t have bought it except I got employee pricing for around $62k. I just priced a 23’ at $80k! In 21’ I got 1.9% through NFCU. Their rates, which usually beat everyone else’s are now 5%. That’s a $1300 car payment for a midsize truck! What are people who don’t belong to credit unions getting for rates now, 8%? This bs has gotten nuts. Jeep won’t make a decent hybrid and they killed the diesel. I’m not an “influencer” so I’m not paying a $20k up charge on a pointless V8, not that it’s even an option on this truck.

There’s little reason for the 2024 Gladiator to exist and even less reason for anyone to buy one if they can get a 23’ which itself is criminally overpriced.

It’s pretty clear Stellantis is subsidizing a series of companies that make nothing but uncompelling garbage vehicles no one wants on the backs of Jeep enthusiasts.

So now, all i need is to get the 24 grill and the AEV bumper and I'm driving a 24 WIlly's....

I've happy to see they really given the Willy's some love. All the willys at my dealership were nothing but a sticker package on the most basic of base jeeps.

EDIT: Disregard, totally misunderstood the Willy's rollout....
I see a TON of Gladi's where I am. More than Rangers and Tacos or Colorados. SO theres a market in my town but yeah, there's nothing here big ticket changes. The body wasn't going to change. It's married to the Wrangler in that regard.
I'm REALLY surprised the 4xE didn't happen.
I still don't understand why the max tow is stuck with the base model. WHY?

Why wouldn't you offer the max tow with all the trim levels? At this point why does the Willy's edition even exist? What comes with Willy's you can't get on any other trim?

Did anyone notice 5.7 quarts of oil instead of 5? Did something change with the 3.6?

I would sell the 23 JT Max Tow Sport I picked up Monday 9/11, in a week, if they offered the Hurricane 6, twin turbo 3.0.

Otherwise, I am real glad I held back and went with 3 year old electronics. No regrets after this Jeep announcement today. Stay tuned for 25??? Not if it has battery. If Jimmy don't want to give us another gasser, they will loose out.

To another poster, no interest in Taco, Ford or Colorado. Taco and Colorado are both significant refreshes for 24 and may not be reliable till 25. and the Ranger and Colorado are not that darn good looking.

Love my 23 JT!!!
