Anyone have a recommendation for an adjustable track bar on a JT running a Mopar lift? I've developed what I would describe as a shimmy between 45-55mph that is starting to become more frequent. I believe I will start to upgrade my steering and suspension piece by piece for the next little bit here.
I run the Rancho with the Mopar lift on my JL and love it.

Not sure I would start with the track bar as my first replacement piece. If the axle and frame mount bolts are torqued to spec you shouldn't have issues. If you are wanting to recenter your axle, then yes. With a Mopar lift I wouldn't hesitate to get the Teraflex. Rumor was a while back the Mopar springs were from the same manufacturer that Teraflex gets theirs from. Keep it in the family.

Thank you. I’m considering upgrading the front end all together and am piecing together components. I already have terraflex ball joints on order so the track bar makes sense as I also have one of their hockey pucks in the front to keep things level.

Yup. And that was no fun.

Plus, at the end of the day...it still uses jam nuts.

I'm never going with jam nuts again.
I have a clayton rear track bar, Everything on the front is Steer Smarts... I hate the Jam nut on the Clayton, I will be replacing it with a Steer Smarts track bar.
My front Steer Smarts track bar is huge...
I have a couple pieces core 4 x 4, I will be taking them of and replacing with other brands, not impressed at all with the Core 4 x 4 stuff, didn't fit well and the set up with grease fittings is not good at all, the grease literally comes out the threads on the bolts.

Core Crawl w/JJ's both ends. I want the tightest joint possible as far as deflection goes. I want no left or right motion in the front end because of soft bushings . Same with front lower control arms , I want the axle held firmly without the road surface having any effect on the front axle movement . Learned this lesson looooong ago

I did the Clayton in the rear like you did. For spare tire clearance. In the front. I went with the Core 4x4 track bar. It has Johnny Joints at both ends with grease fittings.
Have you had any issues with yours? Im running one on the front as well with only a 2.5 lift and when i put my bumper and winch on now the lock nut is hitting the frame causing it to pop and to come lose....

No issues so far. I have a 4" lift. Have to look into when I get home.

Went with Clayton front and rear when I did the Mopar 2 inch lift. Considered Metal Cloak, but I'm not a fan of the gold zinc chromate finish, and I didn't want to spend extra time and money painting it black. Very happy with the Clayton track bars.

Just curious- is it a nylock or pinch nut?
if you over torque either they come loose with pretty minimal vibration.
Nylocks have a max torque and remove of 5 times. Pinch nuts are 7.

I would like to say this is just a fun fact…. But racing in the desert has forced me to learn this…..

If you have a kimbal Midwest or other specialty hardware near by- these aren’t cheap but best nut design ever…. 50x on and off and rated to silly temperature ratings too…

I have the Synergy pots and have no problems with them. I will be adding a Synergy DL and TR soon. They adjust easily and have no issues. BTW, Synergy is not owned by one of the giants.
