You obviously wheel a bit, how would you rate those tires? I’m not convinced there’s that much of a difference between most in the same category and price point. For M/Ts I’m most concerned with durability.
I don’t go in mud so I’m debating actually getting tough A/Ts like Mickey thompsons for my next tire, since I daily mine. I’ve been pretty happy with my Cooper STT Pros but besides looks, I can’t honestly say I’ve done anything that my buddies on A/Ts haven’t also done.
These tires have been amazing for the price point. The sharp rocks in Arkansas at Hot Springs did chunk some of the blocks on the edges pretty good, but overall not bad. Probably overkill from the sound of it for you. The Mickey A/Ts are the only A/Ts I'd consider and are borderline a M/T from what I understand.
I didn't choose these tires intentionally, I got in on one of the Wal-Mart sales, so 37s for less than $700 I couldn't pass up.
Heard great things about KO2s/KM2s as well, never heard anyone complain about Cooper's either.
Mickey A/Ts would have the added benefit of being quieter on the road way since you daily it.
I work from home so it's my daily but.... I don't have a commute for the tire noise to drive me nuts.

I neglected my JT today while working on the wifeys new ride. I did a 3.5” lift on her 24 Willy’s today, took 7 hours. She gets her 37s tomorrow. Today it just looks like she skipped leg day ?

Again I find myself not doing much to the JT. I am working on acquiring the hopeful last few components needed to finish it, which is exciting as that means more play time and moving on to the LJ and house rebuild.

But this arrived last week.

And, I couldn't resist saving some little souls this past week. These precious things lost their mom somehow, and a college student found them at the base of a tree. After a few days of no mom, even as babies, they will climb out of their nest in desperation. The founder transported them to me and so far they are doing great. They were dehydrated and near death from starvation. Opening their eyes earlier than they normally do when mom is present. Unfortunately at least one sibling died probably from starvation in the next.

I think AZ is even higher.
One of my sons-in-law says it's much cheaper and has some vehicles registered there to save money. I'll have to check into that to see if it's true.
Or ask some of our AZ comrades here.
I'm late to the conversation but I can tell you that my 2020 JTR, which the AZ DMV has listed as having a $41,000 factory list price (because they do registration here based on the vehicle's value) was $462 to register last year. The first year I registered it was$545.

Cheaper than Cali but still up there. Thanks for the clarification.

I do IT stuff so I can buy Jeep stuff.
Set the parking brake a little to hard ... and snapped off the ratching mechanism and cable connectior on the bottom of the brake handle. Taking the JT back to the dealer in two weeks when they expect to have the new brake handle in since it's a warranty item ... and I'm too lazy to pull the console myself.

My kids loved those pictures. They said they wanted one. I said you lived too far away. :)

Tell your kids they are a handful. They're like 15 puppies in one times 10..... But they are pretty cool. These ones will be getting released in the summer once they grow up and gain all the normal squirrel skills. I think some of the southern states actually allow them to be pets.
