What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

I drove it and enjoyed a quick Sunday drive this morning. Recently put 37s on it and my goodness I love the way it handles now. It really moves like a truck now. Don’t get me wrong, the nimbleness of it before the 37s was fun, but something about that floaty ride in a truck just feels right.

Sure, the Pentastar has to dig deeper now to move it, but I’m one of the lucky few that really enjoys the sound of this engine (odd I know, especially from a previous 5.7L owner). The intake sound, exhaust notes, etc…love it all. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Took it back to where it was born. Tried to get security to let me go over the man made hill next to the sign, but no chance in hell. So this will have to do.

Dropped off my JTRD at the local dealer for the HPFP recall. They gave me a 23 Compass as a loaner. Good lord, I can't wait. My JT on 38's gets better city MPG and has more balls than this thing.

Took the RTT out on its maiden voyage, we had a nice but very brief break in the heat so I hit a close by state park for a trial run.

So far have driven across a third of Arizona, all of New Mexico, and will finish up around El Reno Oklahoma later this evening.

Closest friend we mixed up the racks and some components, but bought the same tents. We’ve been working on our setups the last couple months while it’s been HOT. This was a trial run for both of us.

Over the weekend got some mud under the tires outside of Joes Valley Reservoir in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. There was more mud on the hinges and handles, but that got knocked off before I took the picture.
