Hauled 100 bags of mulch to my house so I can start sprucing up my shrub beds tomorrow. (Then I mowed my grass.)

Looks great. I however moved to CO. Part of the bargain with my wife was that as soon as we no longer live in FL, my lawn mowing days are over. I’ll move snow, but f that grass. :)
I absolutely love mowing grass. I might sell my John Deere because I got a battery powered push mower that is so quiet. It's relaxing now.

I was VERY particular. My wife would offer once in a blue moon, and I’d politely say, thanks dear. I’ve got it. Brilliant woman, but damn. The concept of overlapping rows to avoid missing grass eluded the crap out of her. Love her to death though.

Thanks. It is very peaceful. Hopefully the last home we ever buy.
I hope that for this one as well. I’m done moving. And I love this spot. Also very peaceful. Getting a moderate April snow though, so the wood stove came out of spring retirement. That and some scotch and it’s no longer winter.

Got in it and drove to work.

Same here! But with much less quality landscaping and I stopped an contemplated backing back into the garage! Ha!

Same here. That's all I've been doing lately.

Drove it to work again...I'm ready to retire!

Haha, you and me both. Only bright side about working, is I get to drive my Gladiator everyday. Well, atleast 4 days a week, since I work 4/10s.

A little premature, but I'm driving mine to the beach in a couple hours.

I feel ya. 6-9 years and counting to retirement. I actually now wish the drive to work was longer, as it's hard to enjoy 3 miles in city stop-and-go traffic.

I'm 56, and my wife says I'm retiring at 62. The problem is that our house won't be paid off until 2035, so I figure I've got 10 years left. (Unless we hit the lottery.) I also wish my commute was longer. Eight miles each way is too short. I left a job making a considerable amount more because my commute was 70 miles each way. I wish I'd found something around 20 miles.
