I'll be honest, while I think I'm sold on the Sting-Gray, I do like the look of both Gobi & Gator. Before they released the Sting-gray JL I was able to find the same colour (called Destroyer or something like that) on a Challenger. I wonder if Gobi or Gator exists for another vehicle in production that I could visit on a lot.

Those are the same colors I'm looking at! Any of those three will look awesome on this truck.

From what I've seen, it's fairly common for Chrysler to reuse paint codes for different colors.

Dodge makes a green called f8 green. I am thinking that it might be the same as gator.

That Filson Green looks nothing like the render on page 1. Not even close.

We'll have to do some detective work and get the paint code out of the dealership materials to know for sure, but Gator looks just like Tank to me...which would make sense considering that they recycle colors all the time.

This I could live with. Definitely more brown in this then the Filson color I like, but still looks good. Deep Beryl Green, on the other hand, I would totally pass on.

I might actually pick out a few colors I would be okay with and let my kids choose which color we get. Would definitely be a cool moment for me and a story to tell later on. Building memories are what it's all about.

I am happy to see more than black/white/red/silver from the start.

Intrigued with sting gray. I hope it's a non metallic, drab color similar to the above, and it makes sense it would be.

I have a feeling we are going to see a bit of a distinction between the JL and JT palette Probably a few more non metallic, subdued colors, which I would personally be excited for.

I've got a 2018 JLU Rubicon in Sting-Gray and it's definitely my favourite color that was offered. I do wish I would've had the Gobi option to choose from. It's really good for hiding the everyday commuting dirt too.

I had the exact same idea, with Sting Gray, Gobi, and Gator. They all picked the same color Sting Gray, we have had multiple JK's in the past and everyone has wanted another Jeep and I kept saying we had to wait for JT. Now everyone is excited and no one has any patients but hey I at least know what color I'm going with.

That rendering makes it look like a shade between Commando and Tank. I really hope it’s not the Beryl color.

So Jeep is using "Destroyer gray" from Dodge and renaming it "Sting" - makes sense.

Destroyer gray is a flat, trash can, ceramic gray with a clear coat on it. It looks much better with the black-out like on that T/A.
