Forgot to take one…had a chance, too.

It’s basically what the instructions entail for installing the rear bump stops. With or without the brace, you have to notch the frame behind the factory bump stop (which gets cut off) so that the bump stop pipe can slide in.

The brace on its own just requires grinding the bump stop bracket down and the brace goes over the bare area. If you reuse factory style stops, they attach to the bottom of the brace (you may still have to cut a hole), but it doesn’t interfere with the frame.
Seems like a smart play.

The Sumo's would do as much or more but its neat. But I can buy those sumas half as cheap as those jobs.
My rears are sumos. And I agree. I don’t think I even ever hit them at this point. Springs are too big.

Last step looks like the catch all and you may have to remove the engine block side mount.

I saw that. I had looked at that on mine. Looks horrific with everything in the way.

More progress.

PXL_20250912_002130988.NIGHT.webp
Today:
-Stripped it down more to get at everything
-Steering pump removed, modified with Apex boost kit, reinstalled
-PS cooler installed and lines routed
-Factory box replaced with PSC unit, pitman arm swapped over
-Steersmart track bar brace clearanced and painted for coil spring interference
-Fox steering stabilizer and bracketry removed in preparation for ram installation

Tomorrow: (assuming I just call off work to knock this out)
-Drop the tie rod to remove factory stab plates
-Mount ram and run lines. I'm not really sure how to find center so I'll have to figure that out
-Trim the grille for the cooler and reinstall, bolt the bumper back into place
-Reinstall driver side coil and new bump stops on both sides, reinstall drag link, adjust wheel alignment slightly
-Reinstall intercool pipes and all electrical shit
-New front brake pads
-Bleed system, adjust ps pump blowoff pressure
-Flip front lower control arms for more clearance at full lock
-Install rear antirock
-Reinstall fenders/liners/snorkel and drive?

Case in point: just realized the passenger bump didn’t extend back fully

Hoping it just lost nitrogen charge after sitting for years, but kinda odd that it’s the only one.
