I think this is the new intention of Stellantis. After they canned the CEO for the pricing and electrification fiascos, the new CEO said he's bringing the Hemi back... and said there would be one in the Gladiator.5.7 should be the base engine and bring back the Diesel. The 3.6 just "ticks me off"
Everyone starts dreaming about 392 or Hellcat at that point, but I agree that the 5.7 is the sweetspot. A TRX gets single digit gas mileage, don't know what a 392 Wrangler gets, .... and you are getting BETTER gas mileage than you did in the Pentastar 6! And will be able to tow anything this wheelbase can handle. In a proven, reliable engine. And if they can get the heat under control in a 392 Wrangler, then the Gladiator should be able to handle a 5.7!
Shoulda been in the Gladiator a long time ago!
