I was a part of the initial group buy with these, got them back in Nov and installed with the resistor because I had halogens originally. They worked with no issues for a bit but then started blinking. I filled out a form to get the updated resistor, and received it. I never actually used it because I got a JSCAN in the mean time, and programmed the lights with that. They've been on for over 6 months with no issues since and I prefer them 1000x compared to oem Halogen. The oem leds are nice and I probably wouldn't replace those.

Either way, I know it's not ideal to have to program them, and this sponsor is an easy target for poor customer service, but I am happy with my lights. I think many are, and we just don't hear from them that often. Just wanted to put this out there for those who may want to gamble on them as well. I still have my halogens on the shelf if I need them again, but hoping these continue to last a while. Trail pic!

I bought the Oracle back ups that replace the red reflectors in the bumper. Bought the harness they suggested also, and it looks like the resistors were in that harness. Anyway, no issues, did not change any settings, the harness tee's into the harness for the stock tail lights and they work fine. Bright as hell, I light up about 100ft behind me like daylight, lol. The screw together connections with o-rings and seals made them weather/water friendly. So good so far

That's out in Rausch Creek, an off road park in central PA. There are a few Badge of honor trails out there and we did Trail #11 that day. Not sure where that pic was in the park but it was a fun day with with a bunch of JTs. Got the run together in the local section on here

Nice, yeah between there and another close park AOAA, you could definitely make a trip of it. Lots of trails no matter what your build setup is.

I was in Gatlinburg once, but didn't have a Jeep so I'd definitely like to get back down there

Bought mine from extreme terrain. They have great service BTW. I figured the bad reviews were only a small amount of the actual sets that they have sold. I said to myself “they can’t be that bad”.
Installed them 5min after they arrived. Turned my lights on and walked to the back of the truck. The right one was working great, they left one was randomly blinking on and off, then stayed off. Turned the lights off and on again, checked the connections,….same thing. Boxed them up, got the RMA number from extreme terrain and sent them back the next morning. Live and learn I guess.

I don’t think the issue has ever been with the halogen lights. The issue seems to be only with the OEM LED lights. However there is a separate issue with over tightening the screws and they can crack. The problem there is Oracle doesn’t give any specs for tightening they just say you over tightened it if it breaks. Lol their customer service really seems to lack. I had no idea they were so bad until I was reading all these threads.

I am just curious, did you do the halogen to LED mode change with the Tazer ?
I know there are many opinions out there about what you should or shouldn't need to do and I am not challenging any of them, just curious.
Mine are still working fine, but I am keeping my factory lights close by just in case of a Gremlin attack
So first week or so they worked fine, I had halogens and did not use the tazer to tell it they are LED, the tails I got have a resistor already installed, the night running lights just stopped working. My tazer wont update as of now so I have to see if its the tazer but going With a warranty claim anyway

There are too many issues from forum members for me to justify buying these. I like them. Don't get me wrong but to pay $350 and they don't last and/or the company is not showing the greatest customer service, is just out of the question for me.
I feel ya, I didn't pay for them tho, so not a total loss, I called oracle the receptionist said they just left for the night, I was instructed to fill out the warranty form online and will call tomorrow to follow up

That's at Rausch Creek in central PA. Went with a group from on here back in the Spring. Trails for everyone there and a great time for sure, we're going again 10/22!

installed mine and loved them. Then last week 7 days after the warranty expired the left one completely died. Just my luck. Had to put the stock ones back on.

I had mine for a little over a week actually on my gladiator, noticed backing up the reverse flickered and then nothing. Everything was connected. Everything else worked just no reverse. Back to halogens for now

Hey guys, I could write a book on my experiences with Oracle and the garbage they produce.. It's a shame because it seems as though their lights do work great but they screw up on the production side constantly. I ordered three different lighting kits and had issues or regrets with each one.

First, was the Pre-runner lights that snap into the grill. I loved the concept and ordered the clear lens lights. Three days late received a post stating the clear was no longer produced and I would have to take the tinted lens. I took the tinted lens against my choice and qs a result, they are very hard to see in the sunlight. Strike one!!!!

Secondly, I ordered the flush mounted tail lights but as the OP noted, the grommets had to be modified, and for the fastener problem, I just swapped the fasteners from the factory lights and they worked like a champ. Strike two!!!

Third, I ordered the Race track light that runs across the tail gate and works in concert with the taillights. A great concept and looks great once installed. However, several problems developed with it. First, the backing on the double stick tape was cut at the factory in two places, leaving a 15 inch piece in the middle that did not come off when pulling the tape during install. This was the case both top and bottom. This meant a total of 30 inches of tape not stuck to the tail gate. In addition, I had to cut a two inch notch out of the bottom of the light assembly to clear the rear camera housing, in order for it to fit flush on the tailgate and align with the tail lights. I fixed the screwed up tape problem by removing it and replacing the entire tape with my own 3M tape and then added two metal screws into the tail gate on each end to make sure it stayed. The install now looks very good, but should never had to go through all that to achieve satisfaction. Over the years I have heavily modded numerous Jeeps, trucks and Hummers and never had all those problems. However this was my first experience with Oracle. BTW, their customer service was embarrassing, the lack of assistance made them look like embezzles! A pure waste of time!

MY APOLOGIES for the long post, but believe me, this was the Reader's Digest version. Happy Trails...

We're really sorry to hear you’ve had such a frustrating experience overall. We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to lay everything out, even if it wasn’t the experience you were hoping for. We also never want anyone walking away feeling unsupported by our customer service team, so that feedback is absolutely being taken seriously internally.

Glad to hear you were at least able to get the final setup looking the way you wanted in the end, and we do appreciate the honest feedback on the products and install process. Input like this genuinely helps us continue improving future product revisions, packaging, install guidance, and overall customer experience.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.
