Hi, it sounds like your Uconnect system needs to be updated. The files for software level 18.45.01 are currently available on driveUconnect.com. I would recommend checking if this update is available for your vehicle. If so, you will be able to download the software to a USB and update your vehicle at home. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your response unfortunately the link didn't return any update for our trucks. I also poked around in the settings and couldn't find anything that would give me information on the current version running.

We just need more potatoes to power the clock.

Plenty of room for storage in the bed!

My Sport S has the basic radio and it still looses 3-4 minutes a week. A couple weeks ago, backing out of the garage and the crappy back up camera was on (in the dark) I shifted into 1st and started down the driveway. The “ Accept, splash screen warning came on, and then a LOUD pop through the speakers. Everything went black and dead in the radio.Nothing worked. It stayed dead for about 30 seconds and then came back on by itself. It was on the station I had it on but the clock now read 12:00. I reset the time and everything else worked normal. It still looses 3-4 minutes a week. I wonder what is coming next? Dealer says there’s nothing they can do.
The other thing that happens frequently is the AC light comes on by itself about 6 out of 10 trips down the road. Settings on low heat, floor and first blower speed. Driving down the road and look down and the AC light is mysteriously lit again. Turn it off and it’s ok the rest of that drive cycle. Then next trip maybe it comes back on or maybe it work as it should. Dealer says they can’t duplicate it and there’s nothing they can do. Been back to the dealer twice for these problems so far.
Yea, Jeep Cares

What seems to be consistent in this is the very loud pop that goes through the speakers. I havent noticed any other electronic issues with mine other than the being off by a few minutes every week or so.

Sadly my first post is after I came looking for a possible fix. My sport basic radio blacks out with a loud pop like many others, I have to avoid accessories mode on the push button start as this triggers it. My clock slowly loses time too. Now to top off my AC has been coming on randomly by itself when I start the Jeep. I love my gladiator but the dealer says nothing is wrong now. They replaced the radio the first time but this fixed nothing so I believe it is software related. Also jeep cares tells me no one else has these issues. That's a lie why I joined this topic...not alone in my misery haha.
