Removed quadratec sill guards and plan to install Mopar sill guards instead.
The quadratec ones allowed water in and didn't fit against the door seal. And I was worried about trapping salt under the front so I'm replacing them with the Mopar ones that will fit under the door and not effect the seal.

This looks pretty awesome. Can you open the tonneau with those on or maybe they are super easy to take off?

I spent my smoke filled day installing the Z Automotive Tazer and Front Facing Cam. Pretty easy install thanks to the YouTube videos from Casy 250 and JTR Spartacus!

I got to find a way to pop that cam out a little more. Z Automotive....You got that mount available yet?

Adjusted the passenger side front door. My hard top is noticeably louder than my JK hard top was. I took it in and got the typical, it’s a Jeep thing response. They all do that, blah, blah, blah. I even pointed out that it’s clearly louder on the passenger side than the driver’s side. I pointed out that there’s no way that you could see what I’m talking about unless someone sits on the passenger side. Anyway, I’ve been studying the door seals and trim and stuff looking for anything different on the passenger side. I couldn’t find anything except the passenger side front door isn’t adjusted quite flush with the body like the drivers side. It’s about 1/8” out from flush and the drivers side is about 1/8” in. I adjusted them the same and the striker for the latch in a little bit too. The door still closes easily, but feels a little more solid when you close it.

I haven’t driven it on the hwy yet, it normally gets loud over 65 mph, but I hope it helps and I don’t have to take it back to the dealership again with likely no results.

Edit: I just read a thread on here about Freedom panel alignment. I noticed that my passenger side panel was slightly further back than the driver’s side so I adjusted the latch. They are even now. None of this can hurt so fingers crossed.

I've narrowed down my wind noise to the door seal. It doesn't look terribly out of alignment but there's definitely more noise without the tape. When you say alignment are you referring to hinge pin or the hinge mount screws?

Hey Greenman and ESTOJTR,

In case no one's asked yet, could you please post some pics of the Bakflip X4 in the open position along with some shots of how they attach (with Trail rail and without). Also, let us know if you decide to add a mid height bed rack and any adjustments that you may need to do.

I thought the racks from Fishbone and Rebel Offroad might fit and there is a diy rack from What Exit. Also, I think that the the slotted track on the X4 is supposed to work with the Yakima Outpost HD with some extra hardware.
