Thank you. I looked all over the interwb for something that has clean lines and not over bearing. They built what I envisioned.

It is fastened directly to the threaded holes in the bed. The holes may be there for the rail system, which I do not have. It is not mounted to survive a roll over. The tubing is, the DOM is thicker than the Jeep roll bar, but it would probably rip itself away from the bed.

That's even better - existing holes used. Those holes are fairly tough so should be fine.
If you suffer a roll-over, you'll have other things to worry about............. more important things.

Always nice when you have an idea in mind, you can picture it - and you want someone to fabricate it - and it comes out as you already saw it in mind.

What's the name of your green? That looks way darker than sarge. Thx. Love your truck
95% sure that's sarge. It looks very different at various angles and lighting. Walking out to the parking lot of Home Depot when I first got mine, it looked so dark I wasn't sure it was my truck. Having said that, black forest green might be my favorite Wrangler color ever and if they were to release it I'd be very tempted to take advantage of these good trade-in values going on to order one.

It's Sarge. It looks light in the sun and much darker in the shade. Here's a sunshine pic.

And thanks, I love it too!

They are General Grabber A/TX in size 275/65R18
Of course the dealer filled them to 40 psi, and oddly, the ride home was smooth as silk. It was rainy so I couldn't compare on the sound or noise level, but the ride? Unless things change, it was great. (even slightly over-inflated by the dealer)

The stock Bridgestone Dueler tires are 255/70R18
So diameter-wise they are supposed to be the same. Width, they are a bit wider as shown below.

I put Rubicon springs, the lighter of the numbers used on the JTR front end, on the front of my truck, and 3/4" spacers.

Nice. I think when my factory tires wear out a little more I'm going to replace them with grabber atx tires as well.

I did hours of digging in the past few evenings, looking at tire reviews, watching videos, etc. and I was actually sort of surprised, seeing what they were "going up against". They fared quite well.

I was surprised by the ride, considering the stock tires were supposed to be at 38 psi according to the door sticker and the dealer had these tires - which are a bit wider, at 40 psi. I've set them down to 38 for a starting point and will watch wear and when the pavement is dry, check with chalk across the face and see how they sit on the pavement.

My mechanic swears by general and says they are easier to balance than the bfg. I'll be curious to hear how they do in foul weather.

google "General Grabber ATX review" - that will get you a lot of that sort of "opinion/information".
There's people out there who have had these for more than one winter.

Now I need to go out and see how many and how much weight is on these tires. They were smooth as silk coming home - I have to say I believe even better than the HT tires the Overland came with.

You had me curious. I went out and checked my wheels and I found where some weights had been removed, and less weight put on. In fact a couple of the wheels don't really have that much weight compares to the marks where the stick-on weights were. So apparently these balanced better than the Bridgestone Dueler tires even those these are about .7" wider.
I noted something else very interesting - Notice the "ledge" or edge there? The wheel is recessed into the tire's sidewall. You'd have to scrape a curb pretty hard to touch the wheel. I checked and no other tire I have sets the wheel back behind a solid ledge like that. So the sidewall sits proud of the wheel lip. I do not know how common this is. Other Jeep folks may come in and say "most of them do" and that's fine, then I've learned something, but the Falken Wildpeak A/T does not, the Bridgestone Dueler does not, the tires on my wife's don't recess the wheel back in like that.

The rim protector is fairly common on Offroad (and even some on road) tires, but definitely not universal.

It's a nice feature to have. My Wildpeak 35's don't have it (as you mentioned), but the tire is wide enough I'd have to hit a curb pretty hard to hit the wheel.

Thanks for the info. It's another good day - I learned something again.
I can see, now you mention it, it's good for off-road, rocks, curbs, logs, whatever.

Winjet LED tails. I hope they prove to be good quality. The fit and finish is nice.

Love your coupler! Had one for years on my LJ, painted Rustoleum primer, until the day I forgot to remove it before off-roading!
