Any one else have difficulty getting a response from jeep Customer service?

Been 3 days since I called and opens a case. Was told Id have some one contact me in on business day. I am on the third business and 3 follow up calls later all I am getting is a promise for follow up.

It appears my 2021 JTM was delivered missing two body mounts bolts. This was discovered by the company putting my rock rails on. Dealer says I am SOL and must pay for it. 1300 miles.

Any advice any one?

I think you will end up buying the missing bolts. The dealer will say it is the fault of who you hired to do the install.

I’m confused…

First, 2 bolts are missing, with no specific location other than one on each side. Then it turns into it’s really one snapped bolt and a missing nut?

Did this happen when someone was installing something on your jeep? If so why would jeep be responsible? If someone snapped a lug, would jeep pay for it? Or a shop lost a lug nut would jeep replace it?

If the shop you paid to install them is worth a squirt, they'd resolve this issue for you. Unfortunately, this is why I'm holding off on installing sliders other than the factory Rubi rails for the time being -- Or, just paying the dealer to do it even though I can. Sucky situation but yeah, not Jeep's issues.

I've read that snapping bolts is not uncommon when installing aftermarket rails. (Use the search function in the menu bar and type in "Body Mount Bolts").

Then ask yourself which is more likely:

(1) Jeep "forgot" to use all the bolts when assembling your truck, or

(2) The shop installing your rock rails snapped a couple of body bolts off and is trying to cover their mistake.

Installer issue, not a Jeep issue.
Getting it fixed properly to continue warranty coverage is my concern. Who broke them is beyond my concern at this point.

Or ....my installer is truthful, hard for me to call someone a liar, and something had to be redone in the factory and that is when the bolts/nuts broke. I'd love to know, eh?
