Getting it fixed properly to continue warranty coverage is my concern. Who broke them is beyond my concern at this point.
As long as they're replaced (even by yourself) there will be no warranty concern. They cannot deny coverage because of a couple of bolts that you re-installed.

Or ....my installer is truthful, hard for me to call someone a liar, and something had to be redone in the factory and that is when the bolts/nuts broke. I'd love to know, eh?
It's hard for us to be able to understand the real scope of this problem if you don't identify what bolts you're talking about. At this point we're just guessing which ones they are.

Everyone here is willing to help out and offer advice, you're just not giving us much to work with.

As someone who snapped a body mount bolt installing rock rails. I will tell you the broken body mount bolt was caused by the installer. As far as the missing bolt, who knows. But the only way that body mount bolt snaps is if someone is trying to remove it. There is a 30 something page thread on the JLwranglerforums for this exact issue. Your installer is almost certainly lying about the snapped bolt. Can't speak to the missing bolt however. Also when I had to replace the bolt, the bolt itself was around 30 dollars if I remember.

Body mount bolts. Front one side. Middle.of the other. One snapped. One missing a nut. Blogs are filled with this happening. Who did it is beyond concern now. I understand the repair is not simple from the blogs. I guess my larger question is navigating jeep Customer care to get proper direction. 3 + days with no response

Go back to the shop that did the install and demand that they repair it. If they won't, find someone who will. Heck, if you lived close to me I would help you fix it. This isn't something that needs to be posted on a forum about. Just do it. (I'm sure I will get flamed for this response, but I've had a bunch of coffee, it's the truth, and you need to hear it. Sorry.) Your new sliders may have to be removed to complete the repair.

It appears my 2021 JTM was delivered missing two body mounts bolts. This was discovered by the company putting my rock rails on.
This is by far the dumbest thread I've seen here. Your installer broke the bolts, and is trying to shift blame. Jeep knows it, we all know it, and you should know it too. Jeep has already told you it's on you to get it fixed, what else are you looking for? Starting a thread to pretend it's a Jeep customer service issue is not fooling anyone.

I guess I am still confused on why you think Jeep Customer Care should be involved in this. Everyone else seems to understand that this isn't their problem. You found broken/missing bolts after an aftermarket install was performed. It's a huge stretch to then say Jeep sent it like that from the factory.

It doesn't matter how long it takes them to reply, there's nothing for them to do in the first place. Fix it and move on.

Thank you Kate. After near 4 full days, 5 calls and promises to follow up earlier, I have been contacted by a case manager today and looking forward to working through the process.

Thank you for the offer. Seems like you may have some experience. Any idea how the body mount bolt and nut both go missing? I'd think if the nut weld broke loose the bolt would still be attached to the nut and at least hanging. This one is a mystery to me.

It sounds to me like one of your bolts was broken during extraction. They can sometimes be removed by welding a nut onto the broken stud, then working the stud back and forth while loosening. The nuts in the body are not welded, but held in place by some “wings”, which fit into slots in a piece which is welded. You may be able to use a magnet tool to locate the nut, slide it over the hole, and get a bolt to start threading again. A friend of mine had a similar experience as you. The shop installing his sliders broke a bolt, then lied about it. They finally owned up to it, but he didn’t take it back to them to fix it.

Look at the video below at the 5:20 mark where the body mates to the frame. You can see the body mount bolts pre-loaded in the assembly jig to a motorized install tool. That tool will record both turns of the bolt and final torque. That info is computer logged and will flag the assembly line if your bolts were missing or installed wrong.

99.99% sure your Gladiator did not leave the factory missing body bolts.
