They’re are wary of this .... if you’re going to dirty it, you may spend the time cleaning it. I think this was first couple of weeks of ownership.

I go where she takes me. Will figure out the clean aspect as a later date.

Getting dirty is fun. Cleaning up, not so much haha.

This was my '18 JLUR 3 days after I bought it. Still had the paper plates on it. A guy approached me and asked why I would do this to a brand new Wrangler. I told him it's because this is what they were made for.

I've only had my JTR a couple of months. Just trying to make time with my local Jeeper buddies to take it out and do the same thing.

Nice! I drove my JTR off the lot and onto a trail before bringing it home!!! Running element half doors and uppers coming soon. I close my top when parked to keep the temp under control. It is what they are made for. That said… to each their own. Lots of ways to enjoy a Jeep.

Well I've just took the roof panels off a few times, now the JT doors not been off or rest of the hardtop. Now my LJ it's spent months on end with out top or doors especially when I lived in S.E. GA. Has my JT (not yet) or LJ been ran hard, maybe in other ways my LJ has over 250,000 miles on it. Now my XJ has been ran hard to say the least on many trails. That's what I bought it for though... Not my D.D. to get me to work though, but it's been ran many road trips too. Transmission and 3 torque converters.

Good looking cool vehicle, many people that own exotics have a Gladiator in the mix. Great to have for emergency purposes. Living in Florida going through Charlie, those without 4 wheel drive screwed for several weeks. Having the ability is awesome.

I off road anytime. I paid extra on the last 3 jeeps for them damn doors. Got no interest in taking doors off. I ride bikini or sunrider 10 mo. a year in JT and TJ unlimited. My Cj5 has not doors. Got no interest in foot hanging either. You do yours and don't worry bout mine!

I've had trucks , CJ-5's and CJ-7's with big tires, lift kits and no top. Mudded the heck out of them. WE drove "down" the creek not across it. I bought my 2021 RED 80th Galdiator because I like the way it fits me. I lowered the rear 1.5" !!!!!!! Sits perfect to me. NO lift kit, NO muddin', NO top off'in. Probably will take the T-Tops off this fall. When the stock Bridgestone A/T's wear out I will probably put on Michelin LTX MS2's. I put Falken Wildpeaks on my 2020 Gladiator Overland, looked good, rode good might go back with them. IDK. Like other's have said.........My money. My JEEP, the way "I like it."

I have a kid who has autism. He loves the Wrangler and I have had JK, JL and now a JT. We have a daily routine, come rain or shine, every evening we go for a 15-20 minute drive with Pandora station of his choice running at full blast on the Alpine system. He also does the Jeep Wave at other Wranglers or Gladiators from the passenger seat. This is my reason to have a Jeep.

Still a car designed to compete in the turns and straight lines...most lambos and Ferraris don't track either.

Some people just the vehicle.
Nope and I didn't suggest they are tracked Lambos and Ferraris).

I've spent a lot of time doing track days and it's a lot of Miatas, FZRs, used 3 series BMWs and when the rich guys show up they're in Porsches.

I don’t take my doors off because I don’t have a garage to store them. I’ve taken the top off a few times. I don’t off road because I’m ocd and don’t like scratches on my 50k vehicle. I bought my gladiator for the cool factor/ different factor

Can someone please explain to me why so many people have Wranglers (and I'm sure it'll be the same with the Gladiators) that never, ever take the tops or doors off or leave the pavement? Maybe because I see so many left and right here in the DC metro area, most of them being Rubicons no less, and the biggest obstacles their vehicles ever see is accidentally tagging a curb.

Seriously, it really has me dumbfounded.

What exactly is the draw for people who have no desire to leave suburbia and urban areas to own these vehicles?

Just curious from a psychological perspective...
As long as a vehicle serves its owner’s purpose (practically and psychologically), it doesn’t really matter what they do or don’t do with it.
