Finished up the aux switch install and got my lights wired up. Feeding the harness through the firewall was an absolute pain, but otherwise very happy with how clean it all looks.

Did you have the dealership enable the switches or did you use a TAZER?

Modified my rustys upper arm on passenger side, did not fit with the motobilt belly skid system. Driver side does fit however, so no modification required on that side.

i'm guessing you don't have the mopar slush mats? they use the drain plug hole to secure into so unfortunately that method won't be an option
And unfortunately, that statement is wrong as well. Way up above where the top of the Mopar Slush Mat ends (which I have BTW) is a penetration through the firewall. I'm not sure what the penetration is but I believe it is related to the coolant line that runs in to the heater core; whatever it is, it sits several inches above the slush mat. In fact if the slush mat went up that far, it would have to have a cutout for that line or it wouldn't even fit. Around the line is a rubber boot that "seals" the firewall penetration and it is through that boot that you can put the wires. Crawl back in there and check again...

Thought I'd have a good update for this thread today. Tired to mount skids, Rustys and Rancho. Both were said to fit my model year gladiator. Neither did.
That sucks! Go for a drive in your JT to cheer you up. Frustrating I’m sure.

Hey I got those same guards. They don’t quite cover as much real estate as I hoped but they’re pretty nice. So far I’ve added to my black Willys the sill guards, weathertech mud flaps, black snap caps to cover the key cylinders on the front doors, and my black antenna should arrive tomorrow. The only thing left to blackout will be tail lights. Hoping to get my hands on the Oracle flush mounts but want to see a few delivered and reviewed.

Got my Mopar lift in and installed!

And 33” tires are just fine. I was “scared” they were gonna look dinky. They look fine.

Added a 3/4” spacer to the rear to make up for the added weight. Kept the rear just up enough to maintain some of the rake.

Now I need to get it out of the shop and onto the road for a test drive.

I’ve been wanting an overhead rack for a long gun but all the off-the-shelf units are pricey. I went and got a hunk of 1-1/4” square tubing and cut it to 52” and beveled the ends to 45°. I then removed the roll bar cladding and drilled some holes. Make sure you use cobalt bits on the roll bar if you try this. After I bolted in the tubing, the cladding went back and hid the bolts. I then bolted up the mounts and was done. Not bad for about $50 and some time.

I used these mounts:

Finished my install on the Rough Country side Molle Panels. Dee Zee bed mat in. Very pleased. Have to make a slight adjustment for my tonneau cover to still fit. I’ll post pics of that once I finalize.

Well I finally got around to making two little extensions for my tonneau cover latches to secure to. I used a 3/4” aluminum trim piece and used my angle grinder to trim it and notch it out for the bolts. Not the prettiest but works like a charm.
