I mounted up a JCR Molle Panel with the 10 pound powertank and did a quick test of my 25 dollar truck tent.

The power tank mounted exactly where you have it is my next project.

Just took delivery of my Rubi on Monday, Friday had ceramic put in all around, including clear on windshield. Wasn't sure what to expect results wise regarding heat dissipation/prevention, but after picking up at 5pm am a believer. Sitting in hot Central Texas sun on a cloudless day, inside was noticeably better than the previous day was.

Also had spray-in bed liner put in at the same time.

Fed-Ex delivered Rokblokz, so those will go on (first on wife's JLU - ladies first ya know) today. Lots of stuff to go on "basic mods" list over next week or so as the FedEx guy delivers.

Applied the name badges and the Gladiator helmets my wife cut for me on her Cricut. I think they turned out pretty good for being the first time I have applied decals that large.

I have a set that needs installing. Did you have any trouble with the control arm alignment?

I didn’t drop the control arms. Just wasn’t comfortable trying that in the parking lot where I work with no way home. I’ll revisit this project soon though.

May have been. This thing had already been installed by the dealer. Same crap like nitrogen filled tires. It's a jeep, I'm going to let the air out...

The company markets these to the dealers as a way to get people back in for service.

I do believe it’s also a dealer recovery thing for failure to pay your lease or bills. Dealer can recover the vehicle for the bank for a fee of course. I’ve read a few things about this type of stuff before. Cant blame them, the unforeseen does happen, and Jeep’s are versatile enough for a good hide spot lol. Any tool to aid in the job if needed.

Oh it’s never a matter of credit etc, it’s more of an insurance thing for them. These are installed before the buyer is known, but if they can get you to pay for it all the better. It’s seriously just a secondary use thing. But I could be wrong. I had a car with the elo on it. Was able to set geofencing for young drivers and all that. Worked without cell service. Was ok.

was rear ended by a SUV that was rear ended by another PU truck

looks like I’ll need a new tailgate and rear bumper at least. Drove home fine, but do have concerns about suspension, alignment, drivetrain stresses that may not show up right away.

The SUV driver said he wanted to get a Jeep after seeing his damage compared to mine.

And of course the instigator (PU driver) doesn’t have insurance………

Damn hope your pup is ok back there. The JT took that hit like a champ compared to what that suv looks like.
