I bought a set of these from the Amazon warehouse for 60 bucks, along with the taps and drill bits to install them. All in all it cost me less than the original price, and I get to keep my original rails. I think I've figured out where to drill the holes, going to install this weekend. For those who want to keep their Rubicon rock rails and add steps I found an alternative made by Rampage - rock rail short steps part # 26410034.
Took me around 2 hours to install all 4 steps. You will need 1/4" drill bit, 3/16" drill bit, M8 tap, 8 pcs. 8mm nylon insert lock nuts. The rest of the locking hardware is included with steps.

Care to share some pics? There aren't many online other than the 2 or so on their site.Just wanted to post up my experience:
I took a shot and ordered a set of ATP Rock Rails even though there is not a lot of info online about them. They look really good and seem pretty heavy duty too. They mount directly to the RubiRail mounting location, so they may not be suited for the EXTREME OFFROAD Group, but I think they will give me the protection and step that i was looking for.
I did have a small quality issue with my rails, so I emailed them. The owner called me back today, cool guy, he is totally willing to help me get my issue resolved, and is very customer focused! Good Company, good service, nice product.
Thanks again! And Yes it is clean under there, and yes I have used my 4WD and My Lockers! It is not muddy in Moab in the middle of Summer![]()
