I’m a newbie to this forum and first time post in here,
I am thinking to trade my 2014 Toyota Tundra Platinum fully load (135K miles ) to the new Jeep Gladiator Rubi/ Mojave , but it is tough choice and hesitation for me.
1- what do u guys think?
2- how is ur experience with gladiator on highway if compare to Tundra?
3- is it the bad idea to trade tundra to Gladiator plus about $30K on top to get Rubi/Mojave?
It depends on your needs. If you need the larger bed, have to tow heavy loads and don't care about fuel economy, keep the Tundra. If you want more fun and friends go with the gladiator.

The biggest con I can see is, your payload and towing capacity. You're going to lose big on both of those.

You either want one or you do not. Asking random strangers if you should get one is just mental responsibility shifting if you have buyers remorse or something goes wrong.

I have owned a 2010 and 2014 Tundra and had no complaints or issues and would buy one again if I was in the market needing a full size truck again.

That being said, even with the few niggle issues I have had with my Gladiator JT, it is still the funnest and most enjoyable truck I have owned.

If you like sitting on the bench being safe, keep the Tundra because none of us will care if you do. If you like to adventure outside your bubble and actually have a fun experience, get a Gladiator JT and enter a better vehicle community.

If you check with your financial advisor every time you consider buying a new anything, I’m pretty sure you’re never going to buy anything again.

If you have to check with total strangers before you consider buying a new truck, you probably need to consult with a mental health professional more than you need a new vehicle.

If you have to come to an internet forum that is explicitly about the vehicle you are considering and ask for their opinions on whether you should trade in your current vehicle for one of the vehicles said forum is about, then the answer is NO, you should not trade for a Gladiator.

It's pretty cut and dried, a Jeep Gladiator is NOT a NEED vehicle but a WANT vehicle.
If you're not sure you want one, then no one here can say anything to convince you that you need one.

OP takes financial advisor advice about buying a Jeep ?

I mean financially it never makes sense to buy a new truck, it also makes even less sense to take that truck and immediately dump thousands in mods into it and the advisor will throw a fit if he finds out that you’ll then take it wheeling and purposely challenge its limits.
