I rarely wash any of my vehicles the old-fashioned way any more. I use Griot's Garage Spray-On Car Wash. https://www.griotsgarage.com/spray-on-car-wash/ If the vehicle is only dusty, sometimes I'll just use Griot's Speed Shine.
The great thing about Bright White is that it is really easy to keep clean (assuming you used a good synthetic wax or other good coating). I mist the entire Jeep with distilled water, then use the Spray-On Car Wash and work from the top down. If you use too much waterless wash, sometimes it can leave streaks. A quick mist with distilled water and a wipe with a clean micro fiber towel and all is good. I actually just did my JT and my wife's CX-5 last night with it. I'd say it took me 45 minutes to do both cars, but I work really slow.
I will say that I was really scared the first time I used the waterless wash technique. I was thinking there would be fine scratches everywhere, but that never happened. Actually, the first time I used it was on an Indium Grey VW Golf R, which had piano black trim everywhere. I had spent hours perfecting the paint & trim on that car, and the Griot's waterless wash worked perfectly.
Now, nothing beats a proper 2-bucket wash for a really dirty vehicle or one covered in sand/salt from the winter. But for all other times, a good waterless wash is the way to go.
