Hello everyone.

As some or all of you may know, TSB 02-003-22 REV. A has now been released for the Harsh Ride described by customers. We recommend that if you haven't already, you get in touch with your dealer to get repairs started.

I did yesterday. What the dealer told me is that it doesn't effect my Rubi. I have a MDH of 021109. Dealer said it goes by VIN number. Is that true?

Has anyone seen the new shocks and bump stops for the TSB? Any cross reference to other platforms? Is the TSB going to add hydraulic bump stops maybe like the Mojave in combination with the shock change?

AllMoparParts mentioned in another thread that the parts don't cross reference and are not order-able - https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...ottoming-out-here’s-the-fix.55752/post-922094

Presumably they are new TSB specific shocks.

People are guessing the valving is different, I think the consensus is that we aren't getting hydro bump stops. Just new shocks and newer (similar to 22) bumpstops.

Hydro bump stops would be a cool(but expensive) fix.

Thats for Rubicons! Where the hell is the fix for us non Rubicon owners.

My tech said a lift would fix this immediately!

You guys told me it IS NORMAL to bottom out due to speed. Yet that TSB says nothing about speed.

This is not right.

jeep wave called me back and my dealer, the part number for the rear shocks seems to be a new part number that isn't in any system. They have no idea how to order the parts.

This is insane .... I'm getting the run around AND I'm paying for a rental too for TSB repairs and a RECALL Y81 at Nielsen Jeep!
Dropped it off 3/30/22 Wednesday. Was told they will LOOK at it tomorrow or the next day for sure.
NOW today - 04/05/22 Tuesday they just got someone looking at it.
WAS TOLD WE CAN'T GO AHEAD WITH THE TSB 02-003-22 REV A for bottoming out issue JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A TSB # FROM JEEP CARES - EVEN IF IT APPLIES TO YOUR VIN.

Even with the HARD facts, matching TSB AND VIN they won't order the parts for the repair?!?!?!?!?

So - they couldn't let me drive them in their own parking lot for 3 minutes to show what a WORTHLESS LOOSER OF A GLADIATOR THIS REALLY IS - THAT BOTTOMS OUT SO HARD I THINK I GOT FRAME DAMAGE NOW.
"They have to check it and see .... "
MASSIVE WASTE OF MY TIME

Depending on your state the lemon laws differ greatly. I had an issue with a new Mercedes-Benz I had purchased 20 odd years ago. California law has a specific number of visits without the issue being corrected to qualify or greater than 30 days in shop. Safety of the defect was an important issue to go forward.

While I don't mean to brag but, I'm not a lawyer or politician, guess I was just brought up right.

Well it's been into the dealership twice at least for this issue along with other things.

I have an appointment on the 8th, I'll be adding this to my list of complaints and asking for a fix.

In the mean time I was curious if these would help

I'm kinda just waiting for someone to start a lawsuit.

Installed some metal cloak bump stops and daystar 3/4 front spacer. Hopefully this takes some of the harshness out of the front end.

Called my dealer again this morning. Had all the parts ordered except the rear shocks about a week- 2 weeks ago. He said they hadn't shipped anything to them yet though. He checked into it again yesterday and now they changed the part numbers on both the front and rear shocks and still couldn't place an order for the rear ones. Said they are literally checking daily to get these ordered and corrected for me.

Disappointing that the fix for this is taking so long on Jeep's end. @JeepCares any chance you could look into this further and see what might be creating the issue on the parts for this? Maybe the items were just set up incorrectly in the system or something minor like that?

I'm getting pretty tired of having to watch even simple bumps so closely with a vehicle that is designed to conquer mountains. I know the fix is coming, just don't want to damage my frame while waiting for it!

I am going to guess "to stretch out and obfuscate an annoying issue for as long as they can." Of course that is only a guess, your mileage may vary. If I was to put money on the reason, it would be money, always is, every time. If it were not, we'd all have Mopar 2" lifts one the house by now.
