Try? Getting a non Rubicon fixed? If so I was told by the dealer that my Gladiator doesn't qualify. Sport S Ecodiesel
Damn that's too bad. Guess us non Rubi guys are screwed. Although if the 2022 models are fixed then we could always score some takeoff parts in the future

Getting caught up on my reading after being given a time out.
Well.... the TSB applies to me. My JTRD has a MDH of 021109. And I picked it up on 2/27. So it's a trip to the dealer tomorrow.

I have noticed the the front shocks don't have enough compression dampening and the rear shock don't have enough rebound dampening. I can feel the front dive and the rear kick up at times.

Hey good to see another one from the depths of hell back with me. Must have been the same thread ?. Do you notice the rear kick when going over expansion joints in a turn?

The fuel price thread I think. Given the time out on 3/5.

Over any type of expansion joint. If it has a sharp lip to it. Feels like the shock tops out.

Went to the dealer to check on the TSB. Well.....my MDH date is before the MDH date on the TSB. But the TSB goes by your VIN number. And my JTRD is not covered.

I'm in a sport s and @JeepCares says it's normal to bottom out if you go ever so slightly fast over a bump (I went 10MPH with a tech in the vehicle who agreed that it bottomed out. I went this speed to make sure it happened and make sure the tech heard it).

They told jeep cars about it and jeep cares said its normal.
However when I looked at the TSB, Speed isn't even a factor on it.. they tried to get me to take some windshield and dent replacement instead. I sent a picture of the TSB and waiting to hear back.

This is utter bullcrap. I can't wheel with it bottoming out like this at all.

Anyone talked to lawyer or anything?

I hear the 22 models don't have this issue. Is this true?

I'm really frustrated.

Same issue on my Sport S Ecodiesel. What front spring numbers do you have?

Can't look right now, at work.

I have an appointment on Friday this week to have a chat with my lawyer.

@JeepCares doesn't seem to care about getting their customers help with the fix. So I feel like now I'm being backed into a corner.

Yes a bit extreme maybe, but I'm getting the run around and a flat out denial about a manufacturers defect. If the 22 isn't having the issue but the 21 is, there is a problem. This problem is not just with the Rubicon trim but all diesel gladiators.

I am tired and really frustrated. There is a fix and they aren't doing anything about it.

Even my tech said a lift would fix this issue immediately.

So basically after almost 6months at dealership there is no completed resolution. I did go another route as my vehicle has been out of service since 10 days after purchase.. I do not think I will fully disclose my details just yet.. It's definitely an engineering failure, and to my knowledge they need to prepare legal info for the TSB/Fix and supposedly that's the hold up. Though I would imagine resourcing the parts is more likely the delay. Every manufacturer is stretched thin..

I will say from my experience the way Jeep handled this situation is unacceptable. The retention group did not call me on the days they were supposed to.. gave me no clear information, gave the dealership no direction, etc. The only people that pushed for information were part of the North East/Atlantic Rep team and Star team as well as dealership. This whole process relies so greatly on the communication it's sad to see this type of response. Dealerships can be the breaking point for the whole thing. It's important that you find/work with a dealership that doesn't play games and goes out of their way to push Stellantis. A lot of the times it's a Stellantis vs the Dealership arrangement, so most dealerships just agree to play the game.

At the end of the day, I really don't even know anything else about this trucks performance because I haven't had it in my possession long enough. Though I hope everyone has good luck with their rigs..

I ordered a TRX , but I am still in love with the Glad's looks/ capability (when functioning correctly) who knows what my final decision will be.

Stay Safe all and sorry for the long response!!
I had the exact thing happening. I already planned on a rock Krawer 3 in unlimited lift with 37 nitos. omg. I can hit a cross gutter at 30 and it does not even dip. super smooth. drives great at 75
