To summarize the 2021 bolt situation with these brackets (linking in the related bolt thread)

  1. One should replace the OEM sway bar end link bolt with the new longer length bolt: 06513320AA
  2. A new nylon lock nut should be used with the longer length sway bar end link bolt such as this one:
  3. One should use their existing OEM frame bolts for the 2 frame bolt holes shown in F below

  4. Finagle the heat shields back in if you can.
  5. Don't use the Metalcloak bolts.
Let me know if I'm missing anything.
Go to the dealer today to get the new longer bolts. They don't have them. Plus they are on the national backorder list until the middle of June. Go to Fastenal, nope, they don't carry a bolt like that. WTF. Off to the local Ace Hardware. Yep, found what I needed.

Just get the longer bolts no worries then, my dealer ordered them and they are coming in this week, the locknut probably is overkill but for what two nuts cost sure why not….Jack

I see you have a 2020 model did you need to have new bolts ?
I have a 2020 Rubi and the stock bolts worked fine after the threads started I had about 4 full revolutions before I had to torque and the bolt end is flush to the back of the stock nut. I see no need for replacing the bolts, I torqued locktighted and marked position for easy check. I never had a problem with the bolt loosening before the support so don’t expect any now

I finally got mine installed. Got 2 bolts from the local Ace Hardware store. The stock bolts are 60mm long. They don't stick out of the factory mount nut. The bolts I got are 75mm long. They stick out a good bit. 70mm long bolts would have been perfect. But they didn't have them.

Was wondering why the brackets weren't welded on both sides?! As a fabricator for 30 years I would have. Thinking about doing it. But I wouldn't want to void any warranty.
