I can’t believe they are still selling these, knowing there is a potential problem. Seems like only a small…very small percentage of people are making out ok.

I had the same issue with mine but was able to sell them to someone that could live with having a defective part on their vehicle.

It’s really a shame. I mean, they did own up to the problem but haven’t solved it as of yet. Maybe refund everyone a percentage of the original purchase price ???

Seems like their customer service is going downhill as quick as their products too. Had my switchback headlights break and I’m currently in week 2 of waiting for them to refund my money to PayPal. Thank goodness I can simply dispute the charges as once they received the lights back…. I’ve been ignored. Zero communication from anyone. Any attempt to call gets put to a voicemail.

ABSOLUTE JOKE
Might I ask... what happened with your Oculus switchback headlights? I have them as well, so far so good but good to know of potential issues.

I agree about their customer service. I called them to ask which LED bulbs to put in my DRL & front turn signals (before I went the American Adventure Labs fender chop route... much better and fantastic customer service). Then when they didn't work (with my Tazer mini) the girl on the phone gave me an attitude and acted like it was my fault for ordering the wrong lights. I called them to ask first! Then she makes me pay for my own return shipping because "they don't offer return shipping labels" although ironically I've heard of many people who have gotten them. I have their Oculus switchback headlights, and I am happy with them, but that will probably be my last Oracle purchase.. I've read so many horror stories about their customer service. The common theme seems to be a lack of accountability (other than on here)... it's always the customers fault and they can do no wrong. They talk a big game on these forums though.

Just want to let everyone know that my shipping charges have been waived, thanks JP. I actually read this thread before I ordered the taillights and ordered with confidence that Oracle would take care of any problems because of how responsive they have been to any issues.

Well that didn't take Long for problems to appear,I'm glad I waited it out cause I knew something like this would happen lol

Shitty rear halogen taillights will have to do for now I guess ?
Pop some Alla bulbs in there for cheap... I replaced all my front lights with proper LED lights but I think I might be in the minority that actually likes the classic look of the factory halogen housing. New LED bulbs freshen it up nice IMO

They worked great for a few months and then my rings would act wierd. One would be amber and one white...one came on...one did not....drl color would change....the headlight worked fine.
Problem was that they were my blinkers and if they do not work them im screwed lol.

I called and got the ok to send them in...pre-auth return label was emailed. Was told to ship back in original box. I tracked it to verify it was delivered. FedEx said yes...they said no lol. 3 day fight over that. Then i get an email stating they got them and would issue a refund back to payment method. 3 or 4 days goes by.... i call... new person knows nothing and has to find out lol. I do get a call back fron a Brandy...IIRC...and she says they are backed up due to the plandemic...ok i said.. I will give you guys 6 more days.... that would be 10 total days..not including weekends...to process it....and then i will dispute the charge. She says it would be done by then....or....they can ship me a new set with some upgraded harness and chip....????!!!

Wait...you are still selling these knowing that they are potentially defective..??? Without skipping a beat she says yes...we wait to see if buyers have a problem and then try to fix it lol. I said no thanks..I will spend my money elsewhere. So... 6 days go by and still no refund so i just called paypal and they took care of it. Still have not heard a peep from them. They also never answered paypal in the timeframe so i guess they did make good on selling a defective product.

Gee, what a surprise. Another disappointed Oracle customer.

Wow, that was painful for me just reading about that.. Sounds horrible. Yet, the tone I got everytime I tried to call them makes me not too surprised. In fairness my Oculus switchbacks have worked flawlessly for about 8 months now. What I especially like about them is how easy the turn signal wiring harness hooks up, you don't have to run the halo wire to the fuse box.. Just use your factory parking lights, meaning you can also turn them off. I was just hoping the 2 year warranty was actually a 2 year warranty. With other companies it's no problem but from them you got hostility.. Crossing my fingers. It seemed to me like they did a good job on these lights and I think they're possibly the best looking headlights on the market so I'm hoping yours was just a fluke. Happy Jeepin'

I bought the Oracle reverse lights for the bumper and I ran wires up the passenger side (attached to existing harnesses using electrical tape and/or zip ties) and wired them to the Rough Country switch kit. You could do this with the Jeep Aux switches as well. No codes and I can turn them on without being in reverse, this might be a good fix people having issues.

I am late to this thread but I am glad I am catching up. Factory LED taillights will stay on my Gladiator until they break after hearing this.

Thanks!

Not even two hundred miles on the truck or lights and this happened during its first wash. I barely even hand washed across it and this just fell inside the light. The tabs where the screws go into broke on all four corners. @ORACLElights

I'm regretting ordering these at this point and I haven't even received them yet. Seems these are very "touchy" and may or may not work properly once installed.....not good.
