I see about 14-15. I have lots of hills out here. And altitude kills things.
I'm on 35s with a 2.5 in lift. 4.88 gearing.
When I get on the highway it is much better, but around town for short trips it drops to 13.
Are you relying just on the computer? Or are you calculating mileage old school? I know I have to reset my mileage in the computer. Even then it's quite suspect.
About what I get too. I noticed the other day when I filled up and reset the trip, then drove ~50 MPH hour for several miles it climbed up to 19. Then with normal driving it went back to 15.

To the OP, I would suggest
1. using your tazer to reset all settings to factory.
2. Measure your tire size and change just that with the tazer.
3. Try driving without 4wd auto for a while.

I was getting 13-13.1 mpg after I put on new fuel wheels and 35’s without using the tazer to set my tire size (true size of my tires are actually 34”) since I’ve set the correct size in the computer, I went up from 13.1 to 14.1 within a single day and have been slowly climbing ever since (seems like I’ll settle around 15mpg after it averages out)

Drove 500 miles north on Wednesday and got 15-16 mpg. 3" lift with 37" KM3. Return trip on Saturday got 14 mpg. I have no idea why the difference. I didn't eat that much turkey.

It's a jeep. I just fuel it up when it gets to 1/4 tank. Not going to worry about fuel mileage anymore.

What I do for a speedo test is set to zero, start a track in my gps and compare the two. Use a Looonger trip. If I'm going "downtown" it's 50 miles round trip.

Using that I was off on my taser setting by quite a bit. I've got it .997% accurate now. That will give you a better view of things.

Your MPG, what's your driving? Stop and Go in Seattle for a 40 mile commute? Ya your mileage gona suckkkkkkk. Or you some place where it's back roads and 55 speed limit? I can get 20+ doing sub 60 on back roads with my set up. But it's 17 high 16's doing 80 on I84.

I'm at 17.9 life time, I think need to look. Just bout 5k miles. on 34" (285/75r17).

You have the auto stop turned off?

Don’t feel bad I average around 14. I’m still on stock size wheels from the Mojave, but I have added about 220 lbs of weight to my rig. Granted I drive just a little over the limit and have a 2000 ft elevation change on my commute. I also just added a Spartacus stubby bumper. Profile exposes the wheels although it still only weighs about 30 lbs.

One more question I don't think was asked: what pressure are you running in your tires? I don't think I saw much of any hit going to 35s, but my 35s weigh the same as the factory 33s did.
Running about 38 psi on the road.

I'm at 11.9 highway on E-85, so you MPG could be worse. :)

I'm running 37's on mine, Kanti trail hogs, they weigh about 72lbs a piece with stock wheels and about 3-1/4 inches of lift. Max Tow with 4.10 gears I average 17-17.2 normally total mix of about 50/50 Hwy City driving. Got over 18 on our last couple trips to the beach and mountains. I live in the Piedmont area of North Carolina and there are rolling hills around here.

Video was when I was running 37 12.5 17 Goodyear kevlar MTRs

Mine as it currently sits, I also let the Auto start stop do it's thing, I never turn it off and utilize it when I can. You will be surprised at the Mpgs you can save by using it like your suppose to, these things really drink has for some reason when sitting idle.

Man I am not gonna lie you seem like bit of a unicorn as far as MPGs go. That said I wonder if it has to do with overall width? So compared to my rig, we both have aftermarket front bumpers, winches, liifts (mine is 2”), 4.10 gears. Differences are that I am on 35s compared to your 37s, my wheels have -6mm offset so I am 4” wider than stock in total, I have a bed rack (aluminum so not heavy but certainly affects aerodynamics).

I stopped worrying about it. It’s a Jeep.

From the manual

CAUTION!
DO NOT use E-85, gasoline containing
methanol, or gasoline containing more than
15% ethanol (E-15). Use of these blends may
result in starting and drivability problems,
damage critical fuel system components,
cause emissions to exceed the applicable
standard, and/or cause the Malfunction
Indicator Light to illuminate. Please observe
pump labels as they should clearly
communicate if a fuel contains greater than
15% ethanol (E-15).

When I was building mine I put a lot of thought into the front bumper as well. I noticed they had these on mine,

I removed them and rode around without them on the jeep before I decided on a front bumper and noticed my Mpgs started dropping ever so slightly a little bit every couple days. I couldn't keep it steady

I also noticed most of the people complaining about Mpgs didn't have that piece leading up from the bumper to the fenders, so I figured they probably put that on to help with Mpgs and I also saw that only Max Tows from what I could tell came with it, which would make sense to help with Mpgs while towing. I assume keeping air from flowing directly into the wheel wells and pushing it around them would be more aerodynamic so I made a decision to choose a full width bumper and one that would fill that gap back in. That was some the reason I chose the bumper I have and the fact that it only weighs 80lbs and the winch only weighs like 80lbs as well.

I'm not saying that this is totally what is helping me, it probably has to do with driving habits some as well as me letting the start/stop do what it's supposed to. I baby mine and am rarely over 75mph in it. Also wheel and tire weight, I particularly wanted the steel black wheels so I wouldn't want to swap them so I could stay on the lighter side and I chose one of the lightest 37's you can buy, not many out there that jeep the weight under 75lbs, mine are 72lbs a piece and I think the wheel weighs around 26lbs.

I could be just over thinking all of it but it seems to be working for me. I got another buddy who has 5aken this approach on his JL when I told him what I did and he has been able to gain a few Mpgs as well.

You’ve taken a very thoughtful approach and it seems to be working. My 35s weigh nearly what your 37s do. I also have a full width Rugged Ridge bumper but I have the Rubicon high clearance fender flares so I still have the gap. That combined with tire poke really affects how the Jeep is presented to the wind.
