My question is what kind of wheel are you guys using? Are you guys mostly using the steel spare wheel with your tire mounted on it or a matching wheel and tire? I have AEV Saltas 17x8.5 with 37x12.5r17 BFG KO2’s and the bracket on the hoist that holds the tire up is way too wide to even fit through the center hole on my wheel.

All hub centric wheels should have the same size holes. I have a matching teraflex nomad, and the hoist works fine.

I can take the little center cap off but the hole is about half an inch smaller than I need for it to slide through.

Is the hole in the wheel exactly the same size as the convex ring on the hub? If so, it should work, but it is very tight. My nomads are the same size and hole as the stock rubicon wheels.

I have a Synergy adjustable track bar rear. Will that matter with the spare tire room?

It may. I have the bent Clayton rear track bar. It’s the only reason my 37 fits at full articulation.

If it’s the new bent bar, says can accommodate up to 38” (so the bar isn’t the limiting factor). I didn’t know anybody but Clayton and metalcloak were making bent rear bars.

I have AEV Borah wheels and it fits. 2020 Gladiator if that matters.

I have a Synergy rear track bar and a factory receiver hitch. Today I tried to get one of my 12.50-37X 17 BFG KO2 up there nd it's not even going to fit. The receiver hitch is the problem. Without the hitch a 38 might even fit. I now have a 315-70-17 up there for a spare that's going to have to work..

I’m running AEV Borah with 37x12.5 Baja Boss, which run a meaty 36.5 inches, and with a slight trim on the inside of the hitch tube it fits at full inflation with no issues. It’s a bit of a puzzle getting the mount through the center hole, but all the AEVs have the same hole, so @skindata you can make it.

It should fit fine. My Mickey Thomson 37 is larger than the ko2 and it fits.

I have the same tires and didn’t need to trim anything. I’m also at full inflation.
