What are you doing with the AEV lift you removed?
I’m probably going to see if I can sell it on Craigslist. I installed the Pro Cal Snap in my Jeep and I’m not removing that so it’s purely the hardware.

Might be interested if you are willing to ship, did you leave the rear driveshaft bearing spacer in for the Mopar lift?

I’ll be offloading parts of mine as well. May end up keeping the end links (for now) and the bump stops. Will likely wait though until every piece is out so someone can get a complete lift. Another option is the front spacers for dirt cheap as a level kit.

Done installing the lift. The Jeep is sitting on its wheels waiting for me to torque down all the suspension bolts.

Man those Mopar Shocks are BEEFY!

I finished the install and drove it for 40-minutes over a variety of road conditions. All the little rattles are gone. The ride quality is excellent. All bumps large and small are muffled.

The handling has actually improved. The suspension has a more controlled feel to it. Those larger shocks eliminated the occasional wallowing feeling of the stock suspension. It actually inspires confidence now. Like you could throw it around and have fun driving it.

For everyone who likes the AEV spacers that’s great. I hope you continue to enjoy them. But for me this Mopar lift kit finally gave me the ride quality I was hoping for. Well done Chrysler!

Jeep Gladiator, Mopar 2”Lift and BFG KO2 tires are a really good combination.

Thanks for the write up and the info regarding the two kits. I have been going back and forth between the AEV 2'' and the Mopar and will probably go with the Mopar. Please share a photo of the final install with tires.

So, what did you torque the front lower control arm bolts to?

Do you gain a full 2” lift form the rubicon stock suspension?

Thanks for sharing. The stance with 35's is perfect, nice looking Jeep.
Thanks for the complement. I agree the 2” lift with 35’s looks like it should from the factory. Given the longer wheel base 37’s would also look good. You just have to be up for a re-gear in that circumstance to maintain performance.

Here is one of the drivers side clearly showing the lift before and after. I think the ground clearance under the Jeep is the most revealing.

I don’t know if it’s my imagination but it seems to have a more level stance now. Looks to me like the gap between the front tire and the fender is larger than the gap between the rear tire and fender.

I don't know. I would need to drive to a dealership and measure a stock Rubicon. If they have one around I will do that and post here.

I bought the Borla Touring exhaust for the Gladiator. It sounds like a stock exhaust but with attitude. I'm going to see if I can simply replace the resonator to turn it into the S-Type. The ATTACK sounds amazing but I think hearing that all the time would get old. Borla exhausts provide good performance and "no droning" guaranteed. This is my 2nd Borla exhaust. The pipes were manufactured to perfection. Each pipe slipped into the other snugly with no excess play. I definitely trust these guys.
