Curious how you guys use your AUX switches. I have lights on 1 and 3 and the air compressor on 4. Help me decide what to run for AUX 2.

I have the factory switches, I like the VOswitch, they look great. I don’t have anything hooked up yet, hoping to add a set of lights during the Christmas break.

So far: CB is hooked up to one of the two extra wires inside cab, constant hot.
Some cheapo amber cubes on bumper hooked up to #4 under the hood.
Plans for the other three switches are reverse light bumper cubes, winch cut off, and maybe another set of halogen bumper lights that will not freeze up, pack with snow, or blind people.

How was the installation on the VOswitch any issues?

@rr11 super easy. I’ve had Switch-Pros, and Spod before but I would rank VOSwitch as the easiest install and the most affordable. What I’m not used to is that you have to power it on to use it every time, but I learned to live with it and it’s not a nuisance. I was just used to switch pros and Spod.

power to battery, and ground...that’s it! Tapping into the fuse is optional as it will turn off the switch when vehicle is turned off.

access to the cabin is much easier than the JK so that’s also a plus.

Thanks for the info. I think that's the way I will go, thought about the MOPAR switches but did not want to have to get the dealer involved. I was not sure about the wire to fuse because that's what powers my halos as driving lights. I will be installing lights and back up lights and did not want to splice into my wiring.

We have the Switch Pros 9100.

It is a great system. No fuses in the system, it monitors your battery level so that you never kill the battery with your switches. Our favorite part is the ability to set up strobes and dim lights with a few buttons. Bluetooth app capability is also surprisingly awesome to have as well.

we think this is a good option to at least look into.

I just bought this as a Present to myself. I am curious how you routed the wire through the firewall. Did you do it on the passenger or driver side. It seems the driver's side is an easier route.

driver side. There’s a plastic plug, however I wasnt able to remove it from the engine bay due to limited access. I did push out the plug from inside with just my fingers which I suggest you do since it’s very easy.

Loved my 9100 and wish I hadn't thought I could actually live with the 4 aux switches and sold it. Now I have their Force-12 and switches for days.

I've got the following on mine:

Aux 1 LP6 high beam
Aux 2 LP6 low beam
Aux 3 Rigid sideshooter floods on the cowling
Aux 4 LP6 amber back lighting

I might at some point just hard wire the LP6 backlighting to be always on with the ignition, freeing up a switch for some rear facing floods, which I'll probably build into the bumper.
