I do have a Check engine light and my glow plug light stays on but other than that everything hooded up and is connected correctly.![]()

I used a stock Diesel Dudes tune and exhaust. The intake does a few things. Improves flow as the swirl valves are removed and the valve at the entrance of the intake (kind of a throttle body) is also removed opening that flow as well. It doesn't have a place for the EGR tube so no future leaks to occur or block off plate to worry about. Lastly, my stock one was clogged up with soot (not carbon) so I was planning on replacing it anyway. Why not go with the Banks?@nate10 What potentially could the intake improve? Whose delete tune do you have? Did they do something custom so you could use the banks intake?
You and me both.Awesome. You have no idea how jealous i am right now![]()

The Gen 3 EcoDiesel is known to consume glow plugs. It's not uncommon to have one glow plug failure by 70,000 miles. My first one failed at 54,219 miles.I do have a Check engine light and my glow plug light stays on
Don't tell me this shit. I'm just over 70,000 miles. LOLThe Gen 3 EcoDiesel is known to consume glow plugs. It's not uncommon to have one glow plug failure by 70,000 miles. My first one failed at 54,219 miles.

I did this work myself and it took me close to 3 days. You and me both.
We've seen quite a few failures around 58,000 miles, but that is the lowest mileage I've seen. Here's what the code looks like when one does fail.I'm only at 45k miles and didn't have this light prior to the install.
The good news is that most of the early failures are very easy to get to. I had mine done at the dealership which wasn't cheap. I now carry a spare with me.Don't tell me this shit. I'm just over 70,000 miles. LOL
All cylinders take the same part number? The good news is that most of the early failures are very easy to get to. I had mine done at the dealership which wasn't cheap. I now carry a spare with me.
