Off hand, does anyone happen to know the size nut that will fit this post?

Thanks

Sorry, I should have explained further: I was planning on connecting the positive side of a Noco Genius 2D battery tender to this post.

Thanks,

Yeah, I was thinking M6 or M8. Well, off to the hardware store tomorrow. I'll report back on the size.
Need to get the tender setup as my JT can sometimes sit for several days at a time.

I think I'm going to order me a set of thread checkers. Thanks for the suggestion.

I use a Battery Tender all the time on mine. I made an adapter to plug into the 7 pin trailer plug in the back.
I do this too. It's not that uncommon for mine to sit for a week or more. When I know that it's going to sit for a while, I have an extra battery tender that I will plug in using the 7 pin.

FYI, the post is M8 course thread. The picture was from my 2024 Sport S.

Thanks to all who weighed in.

Hi all, I have a Gladiator Overland 2020 and just bought the Noco Genius2. Have not received it yet. Can anybody recommend which charging mode to use? I’ve croaked both the auxiliary and the main batteries using subpar maintainers.

I was using battery tender but then I just installed the NOCO 2D and just leave it plugged into the car now and it makes it a lot easier and it wasn't that expensive or hard to install.

I did the same; having an onboard Noco tender, and plug in whenever it is parked in the garage. Before this, I did not like that whenever I started the jeep the Amps were very high; like 14.8-14.9. I don't have any parasitic drain issues going on either.

I believe it is a smart charger, plug n' play.

Just use the mode button until the "12V AGM" led is lit up and leave it alone. You might also want to isolate each battery and charge them separately if they are both spanked and then you can maintain charge them as one unit.
