Agreed, suspension set up is a big part of the reason as well as the very low payload rating (low tongue weight). Ford did not even bother with a rear sway bar. It’s obviously not the Powertrain as the Ranger gets 7500 lbs and the F150 uses the 2.7. I think they targeted the wrangler and didn’t worry about the JT
