I’ve finally decided the Sport S will fit my needs and I get the towing capacity I want. When I went to the build a Jeep, I found out I can’t get leather seats with the Sport S. I’d have to go with the Overland that doesn’t have the towing capacity. Am I understanding this correctly?

Correct. If you want leather I’m certain there will be aftermarket options like katzkin leather. I to am now leaning toward the Sport S as the highest Tim level I would go. Originally it was an Overland but I believe it will be priced out of what I want to spend.

MOPAR has Leather replacement covers for the JL (so they will fit) and a lot of Jeep dealers also have the ability for katzkin (which means you can get custom leather) all of which you can negotiate into the deal at the dealer.

It would probably be the same as the JL.

Sport S has this:
Power heated mirrors
Automatic headlamps
Power windows std
Leather wrapped steering wheel
17 inch silver wheels

Sport s also has more available options and packages such as the safety group and 7 inch voice command radio (uconnect4).

I think the 7" screen is an option not included in the "S" Package

It is there but as optional equipment. It’s not standard, you have to upgrade to it with the Sport S. You can’t upgrade the regular sport to have it.

Correct. I edited to reflects it’s an option package to Sport S for those that miss the packages and equipment groups header in the attachment.

The 7" screen isn't worth it. I bought that on my Sport S. It's called the "Technology Package" on the JL and it's a $1,000 option. All you really get is Apple Carplay/Android Auto, auto climate control, and standard XM satellite radio. The auto climate control doesn't work worth a d*** (I even did a YouTube vid on the huge discrepancy between temp. setting and what the temp. actually is in the Jeep), and Android Auto sucks. It looks like something Atari would have put out in 1981. You don't get NAV. You don't get offroad pages. Nothing. Complete and utter waste of $1,000.

My advice is to use the money toward better options like tops, cold weather package, or accessories.

You really think so? This is one of my most important options. I personally don't want a screen that is smaller than my phone, or I would rather have no screen. And plan on using Android Auto. Maybe any bugs would be worked out by now?
