What difference would the 339/340 vs the 340/343 be? If I have the steel bumper and winch, should I look to have the 340/343?

340 and 343 are the stiffest gasser front springs. So I'd make an effort to get those. Either that or diesel Rubicon springs.

Bypassing the need for the fox shocks?
I can get front springs off of a diesel Sport, will those help?

Sorry I can't answer that one. I will say that I ran the gasser Rubicon Fox shocks when I changed springs. I went back to my stock Willys shocks and like the ride much better.

I have a 2022 Willys Gasser, the goal is to SOFTEN the ride front and rear, no concerns over towing, so which springs would help me achieve my ends?

I'd been considering Overland springs, but according to teh first post, they are essentially the same.

What's the lowest number (softest) coil springs for front and rear?

so looking at quadratec site they have all the part numbers listed

https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/r...VOQnvzagzV6EjgCPHRepjnjHo84SBuMRoCWFEQAvD_BwE

that would mean the 481/483 would be the stiffest rear springs they offer?
Keep in mind for factory OEM suspension tuning, the usually install a odd part number spring on rear left and a even part number spring on rear right. This is for the gas Gladiators. The reverse is true for Diesel due to the Fuel tank being on the other side. Front springs follow the same pattern.

Given your numbers above, a gas Gladiator would leave the factory of having a 482 spring on the rear left and a 483 on the rear right.

I have an overland gasser with towing package. I added steel bumpers and Mopar rails and was thinking of a diesel rubi shocks and springs to get a solid ride. While stock, the overland rear sat pretty high. Goal is to get it more level and add better quantity parts. Sounds like if I swap the sides for gas bs diesel, this is a viable option? AEV spacer kit in the future.

The diesel gas springs are soft from what I've heard. Sport S diesel springs may be better. The Rubicon springs bottomed out if I remember correctly.

As you can see my rubi take offs are the very first ones mentioned by the OP. The rears are the 450ab/451ac (although the OP states that’s the ones from a steel bumper rubicon which is incorrect) Mine I know for a fact came off a non steel bumper Rubicon.

In any case prior to adding my Teraflex leveling kit which gave me another 1.5 inch lift just the rubicon suspension alone I got just under a half inch in the front and just under an inch and a half to the rear from the stock set up(for the most part as as you can see by the numbers). Which that in itself was an improvement from my stock overland. And again this is with non steel bumper rated rubicon springs. Even more id imagine for those with those springs. The exact measurements for me were…

Measured ground to fender on 35” Equivalents

Stock
Front drivers: 37 1/4
Front pass: 37.5
Rear drivers: 39 5/8
Rear pass : 38 3/4

After Rubicon Suspension
Front driver: 37 3/4
Front pass: 37 3/4
Rear driver: 40 1/8
Rear pass: 39

Not sure why there was a slight difference from one side to another if I had to guess its due to the gas tank being on the passenger side and depending on what my tank was at within measurements which usually stays pretty full. Also tire pressure may play a part but I'm generally at 36 psi give or take. But I measured multiple times and I’m sure it’s normal. But in any case it was improvements all around and I am very happy with the upgraded suspension even before the TeraFlex leveling kit. Definitely a cheap and easy upgrade to any non-Rubicon trim that wants a better suspension. So as a bonus adding the TeraFlex for me with what I got from the Rubicon suspension I Have a 2 inch or more lift Without technically having a full lift at all just spacers and upgraded shocks and springs

Picture with the top off is totally stock and with stock tires (although my measurements above are with my current 35 equivelent Coopers, so its not a difference in tires, the pic is just a visual for you). Pic after that is with rubicon suspension ONLY and not my leveling kit. Best pics I could find from my set up then.

My rubi take off part numbers are the same as yours, going to install this week. How could I tell which are left and right side?

higher number on the passenger side if I remember correctly. It's been awhile but I believe the side difference in numbers was also discussed either in this thread or another

But the diesel engine is heavier than the gas engine.

Dont know if this is posted elsewhere, but I thought others might benefit from a compilation of coil spring part numbers. Here is what I have found so far:

Rubicon w/hard top & metal mopar front bumper (or a Launch Edition Rubicon): FRONT--339AC & 340AC
REAR--450AB & 451AC

Another Rubicon spring combo that I know of:
FRONT--340AC & 343AC.
REAR--450AB & 451AC.

Max tow springs:
FRONT--335AB & 336AB
REAR--445AB and 444AB.

Sport NON-max tow springs:
FRONT--324AB & 325AB.
REAR--438AC & 439AC.

Overland springs:
FRONT--?
REAR--439 & 440

Mojave springs:
FRONT--68442570AA & 68442569AA
REAR--68442574AA & 68442575AA

Bringing this back up since I want to put max tow springs in my wifes JT Rubicon that has a canopy, decked drawer, and she tows a small TT with it. The softer Rubicon springs definatly notice the weight.

I'm finding that the 445AB and 444AB have been replaced by 68506180AA and 68506182AA, can anyone confrim this?

Looking for some help here guys.

I have a 2024 Gladiator Willys. I have read that for 2024+ that the Willys and Rubicon come with the same springs. But havent been able to really confirm it.

I have a guy with 2021 Rubicon take offs with everything for cheap and they are brand new including the fox shocks. He has the 340/343 fronts and 449/450 rears. I read this is the stiffest combo for gas.

On my Willys I have added a stubby front steel bumper and winch and the rear Rubicon factory steel bumper.

My question is will I see any gain in using the 21 rubicon parts. Will I gain any lift due to the stiffer springs or height of them. Or since I have the 24+ willys would it just be the same I have now.
