Brought the Jeep in today for my second Jeep Wave service. Was told that my Jeep is "about 100th on the list" for the new HPFP. Said it will be at least a few months.

My Jeep still runs fine and I'm still driving it, just waiting for the part to come in so they can replace it. I just took it in for the free oil change and service.
Ah well that's good. I wonder about the jeeps that have pump failures randomly.

I went by my local dealer today and checked out a new 2022 Wrangler today that had the diesel. It was newer than those covered in the recall and I was wondering which pump it had to not be part of the recall. Unfortunately it was still a CP4.2, not a CP3. I loved driving it, though. Much better planted on the road than the 3.6L, and so much more torque. I just have a hard time with that stupid pump design and knowing what a pump failure does to thousands of dollars of fuel system parts and that it is not just a theoretical failure, it has been happening. I had been watching this same pump saga on the Ram Cummins forums. Thankfully for hem they got the CP3.

Anyway, I don't know if this foretells what pump will be installed under the recall but it put a damper on my desire for a 3.0 diesel Gladiator for the time being.

Has anyone had a failure while running fuel additive?

Still no recall on mine too, built Apr22, bought late May22, 15k miles, use Hotshots ED. Knocking on 🪵 at the moment to prevent the jinx.

Mine is a 21 and I have 51k I have been using additive since I got it with no issues. I did receive a letter about a recall on the pumps but mine said at the moment they didn't have a fix. Did anyone else get that?

Yea there was one in a thread on this forum.
Statically it’s seeming to help, but the issue is the design of the pump, which is why they are replacing it.

I put in two oz of hot shots at every fill up and the Jeep is still going strong. Just turned over 20k.
Exactly the same 20k on mine zero issues. Run 2oz per fill up try to use the r95 renewable diesel from 76 when I can. Going in for an oil change serpentine belt replacement and first fuel filter real soon.

2021 is at 31K still have the stock pump. Was at the dealer last Nov. and asked about my recall, was told then don't expect the replacement until the start of the 2nd QTR. of 2023. I asked what happens if a failure occurs before? was told it'll sit, that's when the LEMON LAW should be activated.
