Notice for new guys isn't until June second. I would expect a fix by August ? Throwing darts.Does this mean we will have a fix soon?
Agreed. I was under the assumption that this problem was remedied on new production since the recall was already out. I suspect the existing recall only had the May 2022 production date cutoff because dealers can't sell new cars with open recalls. I would not have purchased mine knowing this.@JeepCares we spend 50k on a new vehicle that now has a fuel pump recall. We demand an answer as to if the replacement part has been revised or is the same part.
I will let you know...mine (Hydro Blue JTURD) just went from D1 to E status as of last week on the 12th..... supposedly in JS status now. So it was built after the 6 April cutoff for the recall......I wonder how this recall and fuel pump effects diesel JTs that are customer orders that haven't been built yet?
I hope that is the case but its been about 6 months since the date on the original notice. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2022/RCLRPT-22V767-8697.PDFNotice for new guys isn't until June second. I would expect a fix by August ? Throwing darts.

I'm extremely satisfied with the Jeep but knowing this beforehand would probably sway me towards a 3.6.@wildtaco I hope you can do the same. It should not produce a "no-buy" level of concern.
You would just be in the 3.6 section worrying about the cams eating themselfs..........I'm extremely satisfied with the Jeep but knowing this beforehand would probably sway me towards a 3.6.

Your vin shows up?Finally made the recall list.![]()
