Frustrating that Jeep isn’t being open about what the repair plan is or what it entails. @JeepCares this is my fourth brand new Jeep. This is a very disappointing process.

The part for the tail gate recall came in today. Have an appointment on 5/12 to have it done. Service adviser said it should only take 45 minutes to do it.

My 23 JTRD is on the list now, FCA bought my 22 JTRD back because it blew the CP4 pump ... we also have a 21 JLURD

How did the buy back go? Good price? Did you keep your mods or sell them with the truck ?

Funny I walk into the dealership for my free oil change and they tell me my fuel pump is on recall and all of their diesels are on a stop sale. Then I look on here and all the diesels are on recall. I can’t wait for it to either blow up or I get a new fuel pump.

I really hope it’s a software update and a cp3 conversion.

I assume your pump blew up and since there was metal particulates in the system they replaced everything.

Who knows when parts become available what they are going to do to pumps that haven’t failed yet.

Yes, metal went everywhere... had to pull parts from the assy line to get it back in service

As this is a "Safety" Recall, they should be replacing all of them. If the pump is "Known" to fail and place occupants in a safety situation they have liability. The NTSB is requiring it...from what I've read.

I was at the dealer week before last. My jeep is on the recall list and they opened a ticket for it. Issue is parts. He said they are only getting a few fuel pumps a week and those are going to broken trucks first. He put me on the list, thats about all you can do now….other than waiting and some prayers that the pump keeps working.

As someone it happend to, it is safety issue.... the system gives ZERO WARNING, it just goes and the motor shuts off.... if you're on a curvy mountain road, or running at speed on calif freeway, you're screwed.... mine happend making a left turn from a stop sign on a an AFB with luckily no oncoming traffic. I got lucky

So your dealer is replacing a couple of pumps a week on trucks with fuel pumps that went out? That seems like a lot for one dealer. Maybe bad diesel in your area is helping.
