I personally hate the way they look
If you don't mind me asking: why? I'm not generally a fan of mudflaps on everything, but for something like a gladiator they feel very at home. I didn't mind my rokblokz when i first bought and installed them but have grown more and more fond of them over time.

I just really dig the aggressive tire with a little poke from the fenders rear end view on these trucks. The mudflaps hide all that good offroady eye candy for me. Just personal preference. But I agree totally make sense.

Yes, 100% they are worth it. I went with xl/original Rokblokz for my Mojave and I am very happy with them.

I wasn't a huge fan of them just looking at pictures, or the price lol, but in person I like them.

I didn't bother putting them on the rears though.

I still have the stock wheels and 33" Falkens for now and I think the xl/original size is perfect. If you have smaller tires you'll probably want a different size.
They are relatively easy to trim though.

I had XL/original but didn’t like how they stuck out with OEM tires so I switched to regular/original and they still do the job. XL’s block more though, especially rocks.

That actually looks pretty good

I just make sure to wear filthy clothes when I go Jeeping. There's no blocking anything on mine

I installed Wether Tech front and rear as soon as I went down my first wet dirt road. My sides were COVERED with crap, even with stock Sport S street tires. I’ve upgraded to Rubicon take offs since and I’ll still happy. That said, if I had known about Rockblokz at the time I likely would have gone that route. The Weather Techs are not flexible and I can imagine them hanging on an obstacle and getting damaged. Though it hasn’t happened yet. I would prefer to have the flex of the Rockblokz if I need it.

I have the long/wide versions of RokBlokz and they work great. I only put them on the front.

Factory tires and wheels, no lift, on my sport s max tow. Will Mud flaps (don't like the look) protect my driver's door handle from road grit/mud? I'm tired of wiping my left hand on my freshly washed levis most every time i enter my Jt.
I have Weather Techs and they fit/look/work GREAT. No dirty handles and that’s with Icon wheels and 35’s with 2” protrusion from fenders.

I have the WeatheTech one's and they help tremendously keep the road grime off the paint as well as the door handles. I just put 35X11.5's on and even though the tires stick out a little bit, I'm not seeing any road grime being kicked up on to the paint. Easy to install and easy to remove if I had to.

Another vote for the Weathertech guards. Stock Mojave 33" tire size/stock 1" lift. They work and fit awesome. I like the molded look of them. Made specifically for the JT with pockets for the stock rock rails. RokBlokz look too generic IMO.

I have RokBlokz regular long on front and regular on the rear. I have a long stone driveway up to house and the tires pick up stones, very happy with them, what ever width you get longs on the front, protects back farther. I have wheeled and pulled them off was easy and off and back on by hand, but a loaned pair of vice grips made the one stubborn one easier (thanx JTBurns). I had Rough Country contour steps on mine and could still hear rocks hitting the steps going down the road, were getting rusty got very lucky and found a set of Mopar performance step rails. The combo really protects the sides, the performance step rails might make enough of a difference to not require mud flaps. I am not sure if wider ones protect from rocks any better then the standard width no matter how much poke you have, would think the stones and mud in tread outside the fender would not come back in and hit side of truck. You can see them in picture at point in NC, I pushed the steps up against flaps so they hang down straight but no salt and mud gets on step from a cut slot……Jack

Honestly, I never realized how much dirt these things can collect, until I had a loaner while mine was in the shop.

I installed ace engineering rock rails pretty early on, after buying.. and never realized how much they were protecting until that loaner.

That said, still contemplating rokbloks, as I've had a few friends that drive behind me, tell me that I throw rocks pretty regularly.

I also have the Rokblokz regulars front and rear on a stock Rubi. Used to get mud filled handles, now I don't. Also have done well in our winter/mag chloride/sand slurry we get around here. The Rokblokz were spendy, but were the only ones I found that were flexible enough to take a hit, and I've put that to the test dropping down into things and hitting them. I started with just the front pair and then picked up the rears hoping to cut down on dirt/mud on my bikes in the bike rack that gets thrown up.

Also nice for group caravans on gravel, especially with our Jeep "rock sensitive" windshields.

I didn't put mudflaps on my LJ until I lifted it, and I have the rock chips to prove it under the door hings, and the bottom edge of the body panels. Definitely worth the medium term protection.

Absolutely, yes. I have the Weathertech; love them.
Same here. Door handles clean. I’m also hoping to reduce road salt on the body seam. They seem to work well for that also. I get dirt flung all the way around to the top of the front bumper so they are definitely doing something. Easy install too.

I cracked a friend's windshield behind me, after leaving a trail and onto pavement.

Yes. So would the Overland type "running boards". But absolutely they help. The proof is in my 2 Gladiators and my wife's Wrangler.

This is what they prevent -
