Added the poison spider vent. It was a pain in the ass and almost impossible to tighten the bolts without some warping
of the hood skin.
I also removed the seal at the rear of the hood on thecowl and two foam blocks at the cowl.
I have reduced the temp at the firewall by 30 degrees. Air comes out of the front louvers while the fan runs and also pushes a ton of hot air out of the gap of the rear of the hood.
I am not sure if it’s going to help anything as far as oil temps but hood venting and removing the seal and foam blocks definitely let’s air out.
I can touch the intercooler pipes and air intake and everything under the hood on a 90 degree day after a very hard drive.
