@steffen - great job consolidating all the different lights into one post. Additionally, another very important characteristic to consider is what level or degree of water intrusion each light is tested to (IP Code or International Protection Rating). As an example the EBESTauto lights have a IP 67 water proofing rating. Maybe you could add that to you your comparisons. I will try to get a night time picture as well.
they've been updated; however, i have no idea what Emark R23 certification is. That's what the Dura Mini has, "
E-Mark Certified Vehicle Lighting
Vision X provide a range of European Regulatory E-Mark certified vehicle lighting products for on highway use."

also Rigid's is IP68 rated. is ip68 better than ip67?

EDIT: "To recap: IP67 means the unit can be dropped into a body of water up to a meter deep for half an hour, while IP68 guarantees protection in water up to 1.5m deep for the same period of time. Both are resistant to dust."

I am assuming the larger the number the better the moisture protection.

I love this idea. I have some rigid dually d2 diffused that I plan on installing. My question is, will the JT still be considered street legal with the reflectors removed? I don’t want to get a stupid ticket, lol.

That probably varies from state to state. Maybe contact the DMV or DPS (State Police, Highway Patrol) and ask.

So the Vision-x lights are 60deg flood with 2000lumens/ light, and 1A draw, with mounting plate comes to $250 before shipping. EMARK R23.00 RATED

@salsadoc has them and they're BRIGHT

The rigid Industries Ignight bulbs are 60deg flood are 1000lumens/light and 1A draw, no mounting plate and cost $127 IP68 RATED

@mazeppa has these, said he would buy a less expensive Amazon light if he did this again.

The Kawell lights are 1000lumens, 1A draw, 60 degree pattern as well
$41 on amazon no plate

The EBESTauto are a CLAIMED 2400Lumen/bulb and 120degree pattern and are the cheapest at $32 for the pair on amazon. no plate, IP67 RATED
https://www.amazon.com/EBESTauto-Li...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CZGKXG2MG5CRC76Y7RSB
@AJ-MJ has these and said, "I can say, I back into my driveway several hundred feet at night. I also have used then in the woods to back up to avoid trees etc. They have worked for me so far. Personally, I cannot justify the more expensive LEDs at this point."

Other than Salsadoc, do any of you other guys have at night photos of how much light they shine onto objects so I can add them to this post? Also what's that guy on facebook that's making his own brackets for big cubes from Rigid? I'll add him to this post too. Kind of a brief summary of options thus far.

I've tried to take a picture with and without my aux backup lights at night, can't get the pictures I taken to show the actual improvement by the addition of the aux backup lights over just the OEM backup lights. The Rigid Ignite I have are bright enough to aid the night vision while backing up without being too obnoxious to other vehicles.

One thing that is puzzling is the vizionx kit says it has 2 dura mini lights with 2,000 raw lumens, but only 950 effective lumens, with a wattage of 12 and amperage of 1.

So these apparently put out the same lumens as both the Rigid Ignight and Kawell's.

The cheapest EBESTauto ones claim 2400lumens/bulb, but I doubt that, even at 20W/ light, that would only be about 66% more power than the other 2, but double the light.......

So what does that all mean? NO FRICKEN CLUE.....they probably all put out about the same light. I'd love to do a back to back to back to back test, but i'm not sponsored by any of them, or anybody for that matter.

Just some observations from little ole' me.
No reflector or lens is 100% efficient at reflecting/transmitting light, so the raw lumens would be the amount of light emitted by the diodes with in the light fixture, while the effective lumens would be the amount of light that leaves the light fixture. The efficiency of the reflector/lens combination in the Vizion X lights is not very good, as only 47.5% of the light emitted by the diodes makes it out of the fixture.
There is a lot more to why the lights have lower "effective lumens" compared to raw lumens. My elementary knowledge of this stuff is that raw lumens are theoretical as in under ideal conditions a particular LED could produce that much light for a short period of time. The driver circuits are not 100% efficient due to loses to heat, the LED chip itself heats up which affects the output, etc. The effective lumens are measured once the light stabilized in a real world test on a bench in a lab.

I don't think it's fair to say the Vision X lights aren't very efficient. I bet in reality they actually are. I would be a pretty large amount of money that the Amazon lights come in way less than 47% of their claimed lumens. That said, for this particular use case I will most certainly pick up the Kawell lights from Amazon. I just can't justify $200+ for reverse lights.

It's a crapshoot really. I don't trust any of the specs of the Amazon lights whatsoever but I don't want a 120 degree beam.
