@DiscoDino are your red rear bumper lights stock in Dubai, or did you buy these?

They are stock...they are fog lights on both sides (and reflectors as you can see)
Too funny. @steffen707 beat me to the punch - I just asked the same question in @DiscoDino ’s build thread. If these are OEM then I’d imagine there’s a part number for us in the west to get!

Do you have a picture of your interior light switch panel (for headlights, cargo, fog, etc.)? Curious what your button layout may be to include the rear fog lights.

I think these with an LED bulb change out in the factory reverse light location may cover all my wants! :fingerscrossed:

YOU'RE A BRILLIANT MAN! I was just thinking they were cool, but yeah that might fix your reverse issue; however, if the lense is red, I don't think it'll be easier to see backing up. I think you need white light.

Maybe you could sand off the red lense if the rest of the housing is clear?

For me, I want a rear fog light. A lot of the trails around here can get dusty quick, so it would be nice to turn them on so I don't get rear-ended!

My initial thought was to come up with some type of flush mount light like we've been seeing in the thread in place of the passenger side reflector for a fog (amber or red) and wire it up to one of the aux switches. Then I could run something like everyone is doing in this thread for a reverse light in the driver side reflector (clear).

BUT, if there is an OEM offering for the European / Asian market, I would much rather go that route. If anything, using the headlight / fog light / cargo light switch management that those markets use (such as @DiscoDino ) could be beneficial for this project assuming it will work with the CAN bus structure. Looking through some of my Tazer options, it even has me going as far as wondering if some of the infrastructure for other markets could be in place on our North American spec'd vehicles. An example is choosing specific lighting characteristics between US and Canada within the Tazer.

So if this is the case, I can run Europe / Asia spec OEM rear fog lights with reflectors and then just simply change out the reverse bulbs in my existing OEM tail light to get better reverse light output. Or as another option, only change out the passenger side reflector as I had originally planned with one of these eastern market setups and then change out the driver's side with something like this thread is discussing for reverse and/or flood.

As an additional thought, someone in the aftermarket can reverse-engineer a Euro spec rear fog light to utilize a different lens to make it a flood light...

This might be a really dumb question and I blame it on using all my brain power already at work today. But looks like the visibility definitely increased through looking at the rear view camera screen. But let's say you don't really rely on the rear view camera when backing up but instead just using your mirrors and turning your head back. Would I see any benefits with this rear bumper lights mod in my case? I also plan on adding 20% tint all around soon, so would I be able to see better at night with this mod?

You're full of good ideas. Flip the aux switch if you need a rear fog, or extra light, and also have it connected to go on with reverse...OR...
get the european housing AND put a rigid light in the middle. Dual fog, dual backup, dual scene lighting!

Hey @AllMoparParts.com , can you direct me to the wiring that plugs into those rear fog lamps? I can't find a diagram for these, or what model they may be from.

for that price, might be worth buying 1 just to try and take apart and see how its made.

@AllMoparParts.com , can you determine which version of #2 is needed for the fog light connectors?

Wiring is probably 1 of the many part number 2s.

Would be nice if it had a connector already there and wired into the existing fog switch.
Put the fog on the drivers side and a reverse light on the passenger side wired to aux and reverse harness.
