So, good news for those with base halogen tails and don't have (or want to use) a programmer to change vehicle settings for the Oracle tail lights; @JP_Oracle's fix seems to be keeping my reverse lights on and working. He'll have more info to share in the next day or two.

To reiterate, my vehicle came with factory halogen lights all around and I'm choosing to use Oracle's resistors so I don't have to use a programmer to change vehicle light settings. If you have factory LED tail lights and/or blind spot sensors, you may run into other install hurdles or need a programmer to get things working.

Since mine now seem to be fully working, here's some install pics. Note that I only have minor install gripes at this point which I'm sure can be ironed out with future design changes. I'm perfectly happy with the fitment and quality of the lights, it's similar to OEM so I'm happy. I know others have had bigger gaps in certain areas around the perimeter of the lights, but I'm wondering if that could also be the jeep body panel not being formed correctly and not necessarily an issue with the Oracle light.

My minor Issues list:
  • Box arrived damaged in the mail (but luckily no damage to the lights); either bulk up box construction, or ship inside a secondary box instead of in a plastic shipping bag.
  • Harness not long enough to keep body side connector in place inside the tail light cavity. I'd like to see a few more inches on Oracle's harness to give greater flexibility.
  • No adhesive tape on the resistors or good info on how/where exactly to mount them.
  • Head of screw hits the tail light cavity (minor if not modified, may lead to wear through paint and rust later). Link to reference post here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/flush-mount-tail-lights.30902/post-813874

My reverse light issue just started today. So I'm very interested in hearing what the fix is for that.

Thats how I wired mine. Only use when necessary.
To clarify, you are talking about the bumper back up lights, correct?

Did you run wire from an aux switch to the bumper lights?

Correct. Used aux 4 and set the switch to battery so that the key doesn't necessarily need to be on for me to use them.

If you yank the harness down and snap the clips holding it to the Gladiator, you'll get enough lead to place the extra harness and resistor in the cavity. Ask me how I know...

Yeah, same thing happened to both my body clips. Luckily mine just snapped out of place and didn't break so if I revert back there won't be issues, but I'm not a fan of how the Oracle harness puts more strain on the factory wiring harness.

Got my shipping information today. Super excited. Bummed that they won’t let me add the purchase to my account because I purchased them at Jeep Beach.

@JP_Oracle
Hey Jimmij, are you trying to add the purchase to your online account for rewards points or just to have the order in your account?

I don't think oracle is familiar with JScan and confusing the tazer function with the JScan interface.

but yeah, what you said. That's how it was for me as well.
The only thing that finally worked for me was going into the "Lights conversion US<->EURO & LED" section and setting the left and right rear turn lamp diagnostic pin to "Deactivated". Hit Go, waited for confirmation, hit the blinker, waited and about 20 seconds later the dash message and fast blink are gone.

I was trying to add the points to my account as I made the purchase through your tent at Jeep beach. It appears that you only give credit if you order online. very disappointing as I do not know of a company that sells at shows but only gives you your rewards points if you order online. Seems to me that will hurt your show sales in the future. At the show the price was the same as the group buy. Guess I learned a valuable lesson

Gotcha. Yes, it is an online rewards system and incentivizes those that can't go to in-person events since we are primarily e-commerce. Shows typically have discounted pricing, just so happens this was the same as groupbuy in this case.

It is all totally automated so orders not placed online do not run through that program and technically aren't eligible for points (noted here for you.) However, I manage the program so I will make an exception for you here since you waited as long as the online orders (shhh, our little secret).

PM me your account email address, and I will manually add them for you.

This hasn't been reported yet. PM me a short video along with more info on your Jeep (Trim, options, aftermarket parts installed, ETC.) Also let me know how you have the reverse lights wired in

I made a post a couple pages back about working with another halogen tail member on testing a solution. Keep an eye here for my post on the outcome as soon as I get confirmation.

Tazer and JSCAN both work if settings are configured properly according to their respective manuals.

I will send you a video as soon as I can convince my wife to take one. The reverse lights also shut off after a few seconds and then randomly come on and off while sitting in reverse.

I installed them on my JTR with factory LED package and have the bulb out notification. The turn signal indicators in the dash hyper-flash but the turn signals themselves blink at normal speed. I have not had any issues with the reverse light portion. I sent Oracle a PM to document the issue.
Just installed mine. Fitment was fine. I'm having the same issue. I have a Tazer and went back and forth on the LED taillight settings and even put it to Euro tails and then went back to US. Whatever I did seemed to get rid of the hyperblink on dash and error.

Yeah, a programmer would certainly help. I was kind of hoping there would be some solution that did not require one. I'm not sure exactly how the tailight system works but I would assume some resister could be put inline that would make the Jeep think the voltage is the same as factory. I understand that we are working with aftermarket things here but it would be nice to retain the factory warning about the tail-lights being out which you lose by doing nothing or by using a programmer.
