I get around 17 when driving around town, and average high 18's to mid 19's when I add highway mileage to the mix. Actually broke 20+ on a recent trip and I haven't disabled the start/stop either. I would say that 15.3 seems mighty low to me.

I have just over 1,000 on mine and I am still around 15 mpg. I am hoping what many others have said is true and that it will increase a little as it continues to break in.

...well, until I put my 37"s on.

During the Summer months I avg 17-18 in town ... however I notice that about this time of year my mileage starts to drop. I'm not sure if it is because of a season fuel blend or if the computer is adjusting for the cooler temps. I have noticed this on my current JT and the same on my prior Nissan Frontier.

Any time I think my JT fuel efficiency is bad, I go drive our Navigator.

Or if I really want to laugh I'll fire up the Impala and watch the gas gauge drop as I romp it.

Sport S when stock, the very first tank I averaged 19.2mpg. I never saw that againā€¦ mid 17ā€™s at the most.

now with Mopar lift, 35ā€™s, 4.56, and after market bumperā€¦ Iā€™m around 16-16.5mpg at best

my brother has the same sport s as I do just a different color. We drive the same areaā€¦he got 22plus stock and with rubi suspension added and 34ā€™s with stock gearing he gets 20-21

Who knowsā€¦ I love mine but itā€™s a turd and always has been when it comes to mpgā€™s.

Iā€™m at 25k milesā€¦. Iā€™m still waiting for that magical better fuel economy

the canyon diesel I traded in for this was a whole different monster while having the same size tank but I was getting 600 miles per tank before fill up

I donā€™t get 1/2 that now.

My commute to work is 99% city driving (thereā€™s 21 red lights between my house and my workplace), and I usually hover between 11 and 13mpg*. If Iā€™m going on a trip to my parents house, thatā€™s 99% Highway and I can get anywhere between 18 and 20mpg* depending on wind, weather, and traffic.

*Thatā€™s with my 33ā€™s installed. On the stock tires in the city I averaged between 14mpg and 16mpg, and between 20mpg and 23mpg Highway.

A couple weeks ago put about 550 highway miles, dash mileage went to 26.5, since going to and fro city/highway combined dash reads 22.5. Iā€™ve found dash to be 1 mpg greater than actual. Diesel for the win.

Too many variables on city stop and go driving. How much time idling, jack rabbit starts and stops, personal driving habits.

Just let it be said, your worst fuel consumption is on city streets. Even with the ESS active you're still going to have a lower average versus highway/interstate driving.

With mix of highway and city I've been averaging 18.2-18.3 pretty consistently. Took a 400 drive to DC, all highway. Best I got was 19.2 avg for the trip. Mostly doing 70-75 mpg. Stock Rubicon.
