Got my lift 2” Mopar lift installed today. 35x12.50 with 20x9.5 wheels. Installing bumper and winch tomorrow and with any luck, a soft tri-fold tonneau if Mopar ships it soon.

So with the Mopar 2” lift is it necessary to add driveshaft carrier bearing spacer? I notice the AEV 2” spacer kit comes with the bearing spacer.

Some say the Mopar kit has a bit of a floaty feeling compared to stock? Is that due just to height or Mopar lift with stock wheels? If used AEV wheels with Mopar kit, increases backspace just a bit so just a hair wider stance than stock.
Finally how does the Mopar kit effect rubicon edition, since suspension is just a tad higher already? Thanks.

Just wanting a bit higher stance, but retain good road handling characteristics to add 35” tires.

Can't address the bearing spacer, but I have the 2" MOPAR lift on my JTR, use Method 703 rims with +25 offset (6" backspacing), 35x12.50x17" Toyos with no backspacing. No float, truck is planted. Even with a crappy aluminum steering box. :)

How you like the Toyo tires? C load? Debating between then and BFG ko2.

like the method wheels you have, was considering AEV but the method 703 and 705s look good as well.

I am considering the bearing spacer for mine. I don't like the pinion angle in the rear, although it's technically "in spec"

Load E. They're not light. But they wear well and are great in the weather. KO2 are far, far lighter.

Does a Rubicon with this lift kit still sit higher than an Overland with this same kit installed? Or does this lift kit raise all Gladiator trims to the same height regardless?

I installed the Moper 2 inch myself in my garage. Added Synergy track bars F & R. It lifted my JTR 2 inches R & F. Looks great and rides great on my BFG KO2s C rated.315s on Method 0 offset wheels. 37s will rub at full flex wheels turned locked R or L.

All that installed the kit, how did everyone route for step 14 shows cutting zip tie and removing top clip. Step 33 like you do not reinstall top clip, but reinstall the upper controller arm clip and pull some slack out to longer clip and route around the back of the brake lines, but shows and extra clip near the connector? Does anyone have pics of where they did this step?

My lines factory were ran in front of the brake lines without an extra clip?

Everything I have read seems to indicate ya get 2inch increase in a Rubicon and 3 in a Sport or Overlands so once lifted with the same kit Rubi, sport and Overland end up the same height
